METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SETTING RESOURCE POOL IN NR V2X
A method for a first device to perform wireless communication and a device supporting same, The method may include the steps of: receiving, from a base station, a time division duplex uplink-downlink (TDD UL-DL) configuration including information related to a UL resource; receiving, from the base station, information related to the start of sidelink (SL) symbols, information related to the number of the SL symbols, and a bitmap indicating one or more slots included in an SL resource pool; and determining the SL resource pool.
RADIO COMMUNICATION NODE AND TERMINAL
A radio communication node (300) receives downlink data for UE (200) from a network in an area where high-speed data communication is possible. The radio communication node (300) transmits downlink data that is retained to UE (200) when radio communication with UE (200) is made possible by a movement of the radio communication node (300) or UE (200).
Passive asset tracking using observations of Wi-Fi access points
A method of passive asset tracking using observations of Wi-Fi access points includes associating unique identifying information of a Wi-Fi access point with a moveable asset in an asset tracking database, where the Wi-Fi access point is disposed on, attached to, or integrated, receiving observation data from a Wi-Fi AP Database including the unique identifying information of the Wi-Fi access point and location information of the Wi-Fi access point, determining a location of the moveable asset based, at least in part, on the observation data of the Wi-Fi access point, and storing the location of the moveable asset in the asset tracking database. There is no communication between the asset tracking database and one or more wireless devices that report an encounter with the Wi-Fi access point, comprising observation data, to the Wi-Fi AP Database.
MULTI-THREADED VEHICLE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A communication system and method receive messages from mobile systems that may identify sets of data files stored onboard the mobile systems and used for communication with an off-board vehicle control system. Priorities of the mobile system may be assigned based on abilities of the mobile systems to communicate with the control system and/or ownership of the mobile systems. A decision is made as to whether any mobile systems having existing communication threads have a lower priority than another mobile system. An existing communication thread may be assigned to the higher priority mobile system by pre-empting the existing communication thread. An update to one or more of the data files may be communicated via the communication thread that is re-assigned.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION TECHNIQUES USING RADIATION SHIELDING STRUCTURE IN COMMERCIAL PASSENGER VEHICLES
This patent document describes techniques related to providing a method for providing a wireless access zone to passengers on a commercial passenger. In one aspect, the method comprises: configuring a number of wireless access zones in the commercial passenger vehicle by distributing radio frequency (RF) shielding structures in the commercial passenger vehicle, the RF shielding structures configured to attenuate a radio signal originating in an RF band from one wireless access zone to be below a threshold prior to reaching other wireless access zones; receiving a request, from an electronic device on the commercial passenger vehicle, to connect the electronic device to a communication network; and establishing a connection of the electronic device to the communication network through radio signals in a corresponding wireless access zone.
Route-based selections of vehicle parameter sets
In some examples, a controller receives information of a route of a vehicle, and selects a first parameter set from among a plurality of parameter sets based on the route of the vehicle, the plurality of parameter sets corresponding to different conditions of usage of the vehicle, where each parameter set of the plurality of parameter sets includes one or more parameters that control adjustment of one or more respective adjustable elements of the vehicle. The controller causes application of the first parameter set to control a setting of the one or more adjustable elements of the vehicle.
Method and system for dynamic APN selection
A method for updating communication parameters on a mobile device, the method including sending a communication from the mobile device to a server, the communication including a location of the mobile device; receiving at the mobile device, responsive to the communication, a new communication parameter; reconfiguring the mobile device with the new communication parameter; and sending a second communication from the mobile device to the server, the second communication using the new communication parameter.
V2X communication device and geo-networking transmission method
A geo-networking transmission method of a V2X communication device includes using hybrid communication including direct communication and cellular communication. The method includes receiving a message from at least one neighboring vehicle and transmitting a geo-networking packet to at least one neighboring vehicle.
Location accuracy signaling for movable relay nodes
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described, including a movable relay location variance report. The movable relay location variance report may enable more robust and accurate communications between a control node (e.g., a user equipment (UE) and a base station) and a movable relay (e.g., a drone) equipped with a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS). In some aspects, the location variance report may characterize the variance of the drone's location and transmit the information to the UE, the base station, or both. The location variance report may influence the control node beam width, the drone location, and an angle at which the drone may position a RIS. The control node may indicate an adjusted set of parameters to the drone based on receiving the location variance report.
First and second terminal of a radio network and method for operating the first and second terminal
A first on-board terminal for radio communication in a radio network. The first on-board terminal is designed to retransmit first data via the radio channel after the expiration of a second time period, which begins after the end of the previous transmission of the first data, if the radio channel is not occupied after the expiration of a first time period.
