BASE STATION DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING AUTOMATIC DRIVING,MOBILE COMMUNCATION SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING AUTOMATIC DRIVING,AND CONTROL,METHOD FOR MOBILE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING AUTOMATIC DRIVING

A base station device receives a signal for connection establishment between a terminal device and the base station device from the terminal device and performs a series of processes for the connection establishment. A reception unit receives the signal for the connection establishment transmitted from the terminal device. When predetermined information is stored in the signal for the connection establishment received by the reception unit, an emergency-information processing unit acquires the predetermined information. A transmission unit transmits a notification signal including the predetermined information acquired by the emergency-information processing unit to another terminal device other than the terminal device.

A mobile communication network system comprising a core network including a core device and at least one static base station; base stations; and Mobile stations communicating via antennae with the base stations; The base stations including at least one moving base station which communicates via antennae with the mobile stations and has a physical e.g. Ethernet back-connection to a co-located radio manager having a physical connection with a co-located mobile station communicating via antennae with at least one selectable static base station, wherein each individual co-located radio manager comprises a radio resource manager; and functionality for receiving information from, and sending information to, other respectively co-located radio managers regarding qualities of their respective connections back to the core network, quality of its own connection back to the core network and channel quality which other base stations are able to provide and which its own base station is able to provide, to mobile stations in the vicinity of the individual co-located radio manager, and for using the information to determine whether to reject at least one mobile station seeking to be served by an individual base station associated with said individual co-located radio manager.

Coexistence of multiple air interface side-links on a channel

Various arrangements for using multiple air interfaces on a frequency channel for side-link communications are presented. A first indication of a first time-window of a first resource pool may be transmitted by a first air interface system. A second indication of a second time-window of a second resource pool may be transmitted by a second air interface system. Side-link communications may be performed using the first air interface during only the first time-window of the first resource pool. Side-link communications may be performed using the second air interface during only the second time-window of the second resource pool.

Transferring information between a vehicle based user device and a server to validate user information before granting internet access
11247778 · 2022-02-15 · ·

An entertainment and connectivity system includes a processor for transferring information between a vehicle based user device and a server to validate a user's government identity before granting the user device access to the internet. The vehicle based server has an internet protocol address and communicates with user devices. The user devices each have an onboard internet protocol address mapped to the internet protocol address of the vehicle based server. A processor associated with the vehicle based server receives requests for internet service originating from the user devices. The requests include travel information or internet subscription plan information for a user of each of the user devices. The vehicle based server, or a ground based server that receives the request, generates an internet connection authorization decision based on validation of the user's government identity or the user's internet subscription plan information. The connection authorization decisions are then used to control whether the internet connections are established to the user devices. If the internet connections are established, internet session information for the user devices, including for each user device the onboard internet protocol address mapped to the internet protocol address of the vehicle based server, is stored in a ground based server and can be retrieved to identify the government identity of a user or a user's internet subscription plan information for each of the user devices.

Certificating vehicle public key with vehicle attributes

A method for providing secure connection between vehicles. A unique pair of digitally signed public key and private key is provided to each vehicle, along with additional vehicle-related data. A certificate number is generated for each vehicle and the public key, the certificate number and the attributes of the vehicle is signed by a trusted certificate generating authority. Before communicating with a second vehicle, the first vehicle sends its unique certificate to a second vehicle; the second vehicle verifies the authenticity of received unique certificate number and visible attributes by a camera. If the attributes are verified successfully, the second vehicle sends its unique certificate number to the first vehicle, along with a secret key, which is valid for the current session only. Then the first vehicle verifies the authenticity of received certificate of the second vehicle and attributes by a camera that captures visible attributes of the second vehicle.

Modifying a vehicular radio based on a schedule of point-to-point vehicular communications

The disclosure includes embodiments for modifying a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) radio of an ego vehicle that is a connected vehicle. In some embodiments, a method includes analyzing, by a machine learning module executed by a processor, a local dynamic map generated by the ego vehicle to determine schedule data describing a schedule for the ego vehicle to transmit a millimeter wave (mmWave) message to a remote vehicle. The method includes transmitting a V2X message including the schedule data for receipt by the remote vehicle so that the remote vehicle has access to the schedule. The method includes modifying an operation of the V2X radio of the ego vehicle based on the schedule so that the V2X radio transmits the mmWave message to the remote vehicle in compliance with the schedule. The method includes transmitting the mmWave message to the remote vehicle in compliance with the schedule.

Method and system for mobile relay enablement

A method and relay node for managing a plurality of relay nodes that is moving relative to a source network node, the method comprising: selecting a lead node; connecting the plurality of relay nodes to the lead node; and transmitting a signal to manage mobility of the plurality of relay nodes from the lead node to a network node.

Communication system

A system is disclosed in which a base station initiates a handover of a mobile relay node associated with the base station. The base station obtains information that identifies at least one further base station, and that indicates that the at least one further base station is capable of providing donor services to the mobile relay node. When the base station determines that the mobile relay node requires handover, it selects, from at least one cell of the at least one further base station identified by the obtained information, a target cell for handover of the mobile relay node, and performs handover of the mobile relay node to the selected target cell.

INLINE INTERFERENCE MANAGEMENT

A wireless communication system, including: a plurality of time variant transmission points for communicating with a user device, UE, wherein the UE is in a tracking region, wherein the UE is configured to receive and store a list including identifiers, IDs, of time variant transmission points for the tracking region, and wherein the list includes IDs of time variant transmission points which are available or visible for the UE in the one tracking region at different times or time periods.

USER APPARATUS

A user apparatus includes: a receiver configured to perform predetermined measurement for a resource set in direct communication between terminals, the resource set having a likelihood of being used by another group to which the user apparatus does not belong; a control unit configured to determine, based on a result of the predetermined measurement, whether an effect from said another group having a likelihood of using the resource set is acceptable; and a transmitter configured to use the resource set to perform transmission to another user apparatus when a determination is made that the effect from said another group that uses the resource set is acceptable.
