VEHICLE AND IN-VEHICLE DEVICE
A vehicle includes a processor that includes hardware. When an own vehicle is connected to an external network via a communication mesh network created by vehicle-to-vehicle communication that takes place between multiple vehicles, the processor outputs connection information indicating that the own vehicle is connected to the external network as information that is able to be visually recognized from outside of the vehicle.
System and method for improving content fetching by selecting tunnel devices
A method for fetching a content from a web server to a client device is disclosed, using tunnel devices serving as intermediate devices. The tunnel device is selected based on an attribute, such as IP Geolocation. A tunnel bank server stores a list of available tunnels that may be used, associated with values of various attribute types. The tunnel devices initiate communication with the tunnel bank server, and stays connected to it, for allowing a communication session initiated by the tunnel bank server. Upon receiving a request from a client to a content and for specific attribute types and values, a tunnel is selected by the tunnel bank server, and is used as a tunnel for retrieving the required content from the web server, using standard protocol such as SOCKS, WebSocket or HTTP Proxy. The client only communicates with a super proxy server that manages the content fetching scheme.

Wi-Fi networks with multiple party control and management
Systems and methods of managing a plurality of Wi-Fi networks via a cloud service include communicating to a plurality of access points in the plurality of Wi-Fi networks, wherein the plurality of access points are deployed in a location that includes any of a multi-dwelling unit (MDU), office space, retail space, mixed-use space, and common areas; providing end user management access to a plurality of end users each associated with one of the plurality of Wi-Fi networks; providing property manager management access to a property manager associated with the location and with any additional locations; and providing service provider management access to a service provider associated with the location.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE
A method of controlling a household appliance including receiving a device connection request signal through ultra wideband (UWB) communication from a user terminal, obtaining location information of the user terminal based on the received device connection request signal, establishing a UWB communication channel between the household appliance and the user terminal based on the obtained location information. The method includes receiving network access information to access a network from the user terminal through the established UWB communication channel, and establishing a network connection for the household appliance to access the network based on the received network access information.
Generating and Transmitting Parking Instructions for Autonomous and Non-Autonomous Vehicles
Systems and apparatuses for receiving data from a plurality of sensors and using the data, as well as other data, to generate a parking recommendation for a first vehicle are provided. Data may be received from sensors associated with a first vehicle for which a parking recommendation may be generated. Data may also be received from sensors associated with other vehicles and/or from one or more structures or other non-vehicle devices. In some examples, historical parking data may be extracted from a database. The collected and extracted data may be used to generate a parking recommendation for the first vehicle. In some examples, pre-stored user preferences, may be used in generating the parking recommendation as well. The parking recommendation may then be transmitted to a computing device within the first vehicle and may be displayed on the computing device.
CONFIGURATION MODULE FOR CONFIGURING A NETWORK DEVICE OF A RADIOFREQUENCY SENSING NETWORK
A configuration module for configuring a network device of a radiofrequency sensing network is provided. The control module comprises a network information providing unit for providing network information, wherein the network information includes information indicative of a deviation between a current sensitivity of the sensing network and a desired sensitivity of the sensing network. The control module further comprises an operating variable determining unit for determining an operating variable of the network device based on a predetermined relation between the operating variable of the network device and the sensitivity of the sensing network and on the information indicative of the deviation between the current sensitivity of the sensing network and the desired sensitivity of the sensing network such that the deviation decreases when the network device is configured based on the determined operating variable, and a configuration unit for configuring the network device based on the determined operating variable.
CONFIGURING WIRELESS NETWORK USING EPHEMERAL GATEWAY
The present invention relates to providing a mobile ephemeral gateway (12). The ephemeral gateway (12) is configured for configuring wireless network devices (40, 42, 44) of a wireless network (200) in its proximity, for acting as a gateway of the wireless network, and for making available for at least one other gateway (30) configuration information of the wireless network obtained during configuring the wireless network devices (40, 42, 44). The mobile ephemeral gateway (12) can be replaced or augmented by the at least one other gateway (30). The wireless network (200) can be controlled based on the configuration information made available by the ephemeral gateway (12). This may allow a more reliable and faster configuration of wireless networks with reduced data traffic during configuration as well as an improved operation of the wireless network as multiple GWs (12, 30) may perform functions in the wireless network sequentially or in parallel.
MULTI-USER (MU) COMMUNICATION IN A WIRELESS MESH NETWORK
This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for implementing multi-user (MU) communication in a wireless mesh network. A first mesh node or a network management unit may collect information from various mesh nodes and form MU association groups based on the information. An MU association group may include an MU group head that coordinates MU group communication to or from member mesh nodes that are in the MU association group. For example, the MU group head may coordinate orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) resource unit allocations, or MU multiple-input-multiple-output (MU-MEMO) spatial stream configurations, among other examples. Different MU association groups may be formed for uplink or downlink traffic. The creation of MU association groups may enable a wireless mesh network to realize the advantages of MU group communication within the flexible topology of a mesh environment.
Detecting under-utilized features and providing training, instruction, or technical support in an observation platform
A first communication, received from a first communication device operated by a first user, is parsed according to a policy to determine associated metadata comprising a first set of attributes. The policy dictates rules for use of the metadata. The first set of attributes is compared to attributes of a plurality of communication devices. Based on the comparing, at least one recipient communication device for the first communication is identified from the plurality of communication devices, wherein at least one of the first set of attributes matches at least one of the attributes of the plurality of communication devices. Based on the policy and the metadata, at least one of a feature available to the at least one identified recipient communication device and behavior of the at least one identified recipient communication device as perceived by a particular user associated with the at least one recipient communication device is determined.
