USER EQUIPMENT, NETWORK NODE AND METHODS IN A RADIO COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK
A method performed by a User Equipment (UE) for determining an integrity level of an estimated position of the UE in a radio communications network. The UE obtains information from a network node operating in the radio communications network. The information is about service levels of positioning assistance information provided in the radio communications network. The service levels are related to any one or more out of Integrity (I) Availability (A), and Continuity (C). The UE further obtains positioning assistance information from the network node. The positioning assistance information relates to the established service levels. The UE then determines a positioning strategy based on the information about the service levels. The UE estimating the position of the UE according to the determined positioning strategy, and based on the obtained positioning assistance information, and determines an integrity level of the estimated position of the UE.
Method and system for controlling UICC and EUICC
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a UICC in which a first profile is installed, an eUICC, and a processor electrically connected with the UICC and the eUICC. The processor requests a second profile to be installed in the eUICC from a first server based on the first profile, receives the second profile from a second server associated with the first server, and installs the received second profile in the eUICC. The second profile and the first profile include the same subscriber identification information.

Short message service interworking
Various communication systems may benefit from suitable interworking. For example, certain fifth generation short message service systems may benefit from interworking with long term evolution short message service deployments in a visited public land mobile network. A method can include receiving, at a network element, an attach request from a user equipment. The method can also include using an internal policy to find a short message service function that resides at the network element. The method can further include using an address of the short message service function for providing short message service to the user equipment.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING A MULTICAST BROADCAST DATA STREAM
A multicast broadcast service controller is disclosed. The MBSC processes multicast broadcast data streams for transmission to access service network gateways or base stations. The MBSC includes a MBSC core processor for establishing time synchronization information used by the access service network gateways or base stations to synchronously transmit data streams. The MBSC core processor selects streams for transmission in a time diversity interval (TDI) and builds multicast broadcast (MBS) region content based on the selected streams and configuration information. The MBS region content includes timing synchronization information, resource information and MBS region content location information. A MBS region distribution module (MRD) transmits the MBS region content to the access service network gateways or base stations.
Data analytics method and apparatus
Embodiments of this application provide example data analytics methods and example data analytics apparatuses. An example method carried out by a user plane data processing network element includes: obtaining information about at least one feature set from a data analytics network element, where information about each feature set in the information about the at least one feature set corresponds to at least one service type or at least one execution rule; obtaining a feature parameter of user plane data based on the information about the at least one feature set; sending the feature parameter to the data analytics network element; obtaining a response result of the feature parameter from the data analytics network element; obtaining, based on the response result, a service type associated with the user plane data or an execution rule associated with the user plane data.
Abnormal traffic analysis apparatus, abnormal traffic analysis method, and abnormal traffic analysis program
An abnormal traffic analysis apparatus includes receiving means for receiving traffic from a device, analysis means for analyzing whether or not traffic received from the device is abnormal traffic, analysis result recording means for recording a result of analysis performed by the analysis means, and device management means for managing movement of the device between edges. If it is determined by the device management means that a device that is a target of analysis performed by the analysis means moves to an edge, the receiving means creates information for continuing analysis of traffic received from the device and transmits the information to an apparatus for analyzing traffic that is included in the edge to which the device moves.
METHOD OF COORDINATING MULTIPLE INSTANCES OF USER PLANE TRAFFIC PROCESSING IN A DATA NETWORK
A method of coordinating multiple instances of user plane traffic processing in a data network is described. The method includes the following steps: receiving control plane data from at least one basis station by a control plane of the data network, wherein the control plane data is associated with at least two subscribers connected to the at least one basis station; generating subscriber and user plane session data based on the received control plane data by a subscriber and session collector module, wherein the subscriber and user plane session data is associated with the at least two subscribers; selecting a user plane function instance out of a plurality of user plane function instances based on the subscriber and user plane session data by a load balancing module, wherein the selected user plane function instance is associated with exactly one subscriber; receiving user plane data from the at least one basis station, wherein the user plane data is associated with the at least two subscribers; and processing at least a portion of the user plane data by the selected user plane function instance. Further, a data network is described.
Systems and methods for 5G location support using service based interfaces
Methods and techniques are described for supporting location services for a user equipment (UE) using a location server and service based interfaces (SBIs) and SBI service operations in a Fifth Generation wireless network. The location server may be, e.g., a Location Management Function (LMF). The LMF may be in either a serving Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) for a UE or in a Home PLMN for a roaming UE. The LMF may receive a location service request for the UE using an SBI and may communicate with another entity in the network, through a second entity and using an SBI, to obtain location information for the UE measured by the other entity. The LMF may determine a location for the UE based on the location information.
Reducing interference in CBRS networks
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for radio resource management in a Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) network include one or more CBRS devices (CBSDs) which can obtain a group type associated with the CBSDs and their associated Radio Environment Map (REM) reports of one or more frequency channels of the CBRS network. The group type and the REM reports may be provided to a Self-Organizing Network (SON) manager of the CBRS network, where the SON manager may determine and provide to the CBSDs, one or more of a channel utilization information, transmission power, or mobility load management information for the CBSD, based on the group type and the REM reports.
