METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING SERVICE CONTINUITY IN NPN USING NWDAF
A method and an apparatus for supporting service continuity between a first network and a second network are provided, which include: requesting slice analytics for selection of a slice from an NWDAF of the first network before a terminal moves from the first network to the second network; and selecting a slice to be used in the second network to provide a service to the terminal based on the slice analytics received from the NWDAF of the first network.
COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A control method for a communication system, the communication system including a relay apparatus configured to connect to a mobile communication network, and an information processing apparatus configured to connect to the relay apparatus via a local area network, includes transmitting a request for changing an operation setting for the relay apparatus in a case where the information processing apparatus detects a connection of an external apparatus different from the relay apparatus on the local area network, and restricting communication of the external apparatus different from the relay apparatus via the mobile communication network in a case where the relay apparatus receives the request.
Radio access network intelligent controller-based dynamic time division duplex communication in a radio communication network
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a process or apparatus for receiving, by a processing system including a processor, cell traffic reports for cells of a radio communication network, performing a reconfiguration analysis to identify reconfiguration information to reconfigure the radio communication network according to changing network conditions, and communicating the reconfiguration information defining a new cell configuration for the cells of the radio communication network and communicating information defining a new reconfiguration time for the cells to substantially synchronously switch to communicating according to the reconfiguration information. The receiving the cell traffic reports, the performing the reconfiguration analysis and the communicating the reconfiguration information occur in substantially real time. Other embodiments are disclosed.

RELOCATING AN ACCESS GATEWAY
Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for relocating an access gateway during UE registration. One apparatus (600) includes an interface (640) that communicates with a remote unit and with a plurality of network functions in a mobile communication network. The apparatus (600) includes a processor (605) that initiates (705) registration of the remote unit with the mobile communication network and receives (710) a relocation command from an AMF while the registration is ongoing, the relocation command containing an address of a first TNGF and a first security key. If connectivity with the first TNGF is supported, then the processor (605) sends (720) a first request to the first TNGF, the first request containing a remote unit identity and an AMF identity. However, if connectivity with the first TNGF is not supported, then the processor (605) sends (725) a relocation reject message to the AMF.
Method and apparatus for determining channel occupancy information
A method and apparatus for determining channel occupancy information is provided. The user device determines a measured object according to first indication information sent by a base station, determines a target beam corresponding to the measured object according to a pre-stored correspondence relationship between a plurality of measured objects and a plurality of beams, measures first strength information of a received signal on the target beam, determines the channel occupancy information according to the first strength information, and sends the channel occupancy information to the base station. The channel occupancy information is marked as being associated with the measured object.

ENHANCED BROADBAND AND MOBILITY ACCESS
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a network communication device that includes a backhaul link circuit and a Wi-Fi access point to provide broadband services to a service provider's broadband customers and to provide mobility services to the service provider's mobility customers. This network communication device is installed outside of a dwelling unit in order to simplify the installation procedure and avoid property disruption. An extender device registered to a broadband customer user account may associate to the access point for seamless service. User equipment (UE) of the service provider's mobility customers may associate to the access point to receive Wi-Fi roaming services. Other embodiments are disclosed.
User equipment (UE) assisted termination selection for non-standalone or dual connectivity
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In a wireless communications system, a user equipment (UE) may determine a preference of the UE for a termination point between a core network and a radio access network (RAN), the core network and the RAN supporting communications for the UE via at least one or a first cell and a second cell each associated with a multi-connectivity mode of the UE. The UE may transmit, to a base station, an indication of the preference of the UE for the termination point. In some cases, the base station may determine the termination point based on receiving the indication of the preference of the UE, and the base station may transmit a message indicating a configuration for the multi-connectivity mode to the UE, the configuration indicating the determined termination point.
