COMMUNICATION METHOD, RADIO TERMINAL, PROCESSOR AND BASE STATION
A communication method including transmitting, from a radio terminal connected to a cell to a base station managing the cell operated in a first frequency, a first message that a discovery signal is transmitted for public safety in a second frequency; receiving, by the base station, the first message; and transmitting, from the base station to the radio terminal, a second message including information on radio resources to be used in transmission of the discovery signal in the second frequency, based on the first message. The method further includes transmitting, from the base station to the radio terminal, first information and second information. The first information indicates a threshold value for determining whether or not the radio terminal transmits the first message. The radio terminal uses the second information to determine whether or not the radio terminal is allowed to transmit the first message.

MOBILE CELLULAR NETWORK BACKHAUL
A mobile cellular network (MCN) communication system can provide an independent mobile cellular network to devices within a covered area. In addition, the MCN communication system can communicate with other MCN communication systems using a wireless standard that is similar to the wireless standard used to communicate with user equipment within the covered area. In some instances, the MCN communication system can be registered as a user equipment of another MCN communication system and/or have another MCN communication system registered with it as a user equipment.
Techniques for using multi-connected repeaters in wireless communications
Aspects described herein relate to establishing a control connection with at least a first node and a second node for receiving control information for providing a repeater function between two or more wireless nodes. Control information can be communicated over the control connection from one or more of at least the first node or the second node. The repeater can provide, based on the control information, the repeater function between the two or more wireless nodes. Other aspects relate to establishing a control connection with a first node for receiving control information for providing a repeater function for one or more upstream nodes, receiving control information over the control connection, determining a conflict in receiving the control information or a conflict within the control information for two or more upstream nodes, and providing, based on the control information and conflict, the repeater function for the one or more upstream nodes.
Communication apparatus, method, program and recording medium
In an architecture in which the inside of a radio access network is split into two layers and the processes are performed in separate apparatuses, respectively, to achieve the redundancy of the processes of the higher layer. A server apparatus 100 is a communication apparatus that comprises a first layer processing unit 141 configured to perform a process of a first layer in a radio access network, an establishing unit 143 configured to perform a process for establishing connections with two or more clients performing a process of a second layer, which is higher than the first layer, an obtaining unit 145 configured to obtain information related to a connection state with a first client performing the process of the second layer, and a communication processing unit 147 configured to transmit, to a second client, the information related to the connection state with the first client.
Radio communication node
A radio communication node sets a radio backhaul link with a parent node and a radio access link with a child node. The radio communication node receives control information of the radio access link, and determines location that indicates a radio resource available to the radio access based on a reception timing of the control information in a slot of a radio frame.
COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD
A communication system includes an outdoor gateway and an indoor gateway. The outdoor gateway includes: a communication IF that connects to an outdoor network; and a communication IF that communicates wirelessly. The indoor gateway includes: a communication IF that connects to an indoor network; and a communication IF that connects, via wireless communication, to the communication IF included in the outdoor gateway.

Apparatus and methods for accessing a data network
A packet data network gateway, P-GW, is located in a second network for supporting user plane data to terminal devices in a wireless communications system that additionally comprises a first network having a first packet data network gateway, P-GW operably couplable to the P-GW. The P-GW comprises a processor arranged to: check a destination address of received packets from the first P-GW to determine whether the received packets are destined for any of the terminal devices, and in response thereto: extract one or more properties of said received packets if they are destined for any of the terminal devices served with user plane data; or discard said received packets if they are not destined for the terminal device(s).
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR INTEGRATING BLUETOOTH DEVICES INTO NEIGHBOR AWARE NETWORKS
Methods and apparatus for integrating Bluetooth devices into neighbor aware networks are described herein. In some aspects, a method for wireless communication may comprise receiving at least one parameter indicating availability of a service associated with a first wireless protocol from a second wireless device configured to communicate according to the first wireless protocol. The method may further comprise encapsulating the at least one parameter into a service discovery frame associated with a second wireless protocol. The method may further comprise transmitting the service discovery frame to a third wireless device configured to communicate according to the second wireless protocol. The first wireless network comprises a Bluetooth protocol and the second wireless network comprises a WiFi protocol
