HEAD GARMENT WITH MULTI-LAYER FILTER
A head garment is made of elastically stretchable fabric configured to fit over and surround the head of a wearer and conform substantially to the shape of the wearer's head. The head garment has an eye opening positioned to allow the wearer to see therethrough, and a protective eye shield completely covering the eye opening. A multi-layer filter portion is configured to cover the wearer's mouth and at least a lower part of the wearer's nose and has three or more filter layers for filtering air during breathing. Additional filter layers may be added to the multi-layer filter portion to enhance or modify the filtering properties. The multi-layer filter portion may be configured as a removable filter pack that can be removed and replaced by other filter packs having different filtering properties.
Headwear
Headwear includes a crown of planar fabric panels sewn together in-plane, a brim and a size adjuster of a strip of fabric on a lower portion of the crown, around an entirety of a circumference of the crown or a part of the circumference of the crown. The size adjuster includes, in a space defined by a casing formed by the strip of fabric, a shape-changeable component that, at heat of a predetermined temperature or higher, is configured to soften and extend in a circumferential direction of the crown by a length that is greater than a length by which the shape-changeable component extends at heat lower than the predetermined temperature, in response to a tensile force applied to the shape-changeable component in the circumferential direction of the crown. The fabric panels have a contour and a mesh formed by cutting fabric on a bias.

HEADWEAR APPARATUS WITH A FLEXIBLE PANEL TO ACCOMMODATE THE NATURAL EXPANSION AND CONTRACTION OF A WEARERS HEAD WITH INTEGRATED OPENINGS FOR HAIR
Embodiments of the present disclosure are drawn to adjustable wearable headwear with integrated openings for accommodating one or more styles of hair. Aspects of the present disclosure also relate to adjustable headwear with integrated openings having a flexible member formed from one or more flexible elements (e.g., elastic bands, elastic straps, etc.) for permitting the headwear to adjust (e.g., expand or contract) based on a wearer's head size and/or hairstyle (e.g., a bun, a ponytail, or similar hairstyle), and for permitting natural contraction or expansion of the wearer's head. In an embodiment, the flexible elements may be arranged in a “ladder” pattern in a rear, flexible panel of the headwear. In another example of a headwear, the flexible elements may be arranged in a generally “X-shaped” pattern in a rear, flexible panel of the headwear. In such an example, two or more “X-shaped” elastic or flexible elements may be used.

Adjustment mechanism for adjusting length of a headband
An adjustment mechanism for allowing a user to adjust a length of a headband includes a stationary case, a clutch, and a knob. The stationary case defines an opening and a circular recess. The clutch includes a cam arranged within the circular recess and a pinion extending axially from the cam such that the pinion is positioned outside the case via the opening to engage with the headband. The clutch also includes a roller located adjacent to a first cam portion of the cam. The knob has an actuating element arranged between the roller and a tab of the cam. The knob is rotatable in a first direction for allowing the user to shorten the length of the headband. The knob is rotatable in a second direction allowing the user to increase the length of the headband.
