Beneficial applications of UVA1 light
A light engine that produces UVA1 light, but not UVA2 or UVB radiation, that will provide a human or animal subject a beneficial application of artificial UVA1 light without the deleterious effect of the UVA2 and UVB light. Methods of providing UVA1 light to the human or animal subject over various periods of time provide positive treatments that can reduce stress, reduce anxiety, increase a pain threshold, and induce interferon production. Exposure to UVA1 wavelength light (360-400 nm) provides a positive effect on both humans and animals. This is especially true when the humans or animals do not receive UVB and UVA2 at the time that the UVA1 light is received, and the ratio of UVA1 light to (UVA1 light+visible light) is greater than 10%.

An information processing device includes a picture image inputter configured to acquire a picture image imaged by a camera and at least one processor configured to execute a program stored in a memory. The at least one processor detects, from the picture image acquired by the picture image inputter, light emitted by a light-emission device, acquires, based on brightness of the detected light emitted by the light-emission device, set brightness information indicating an appropriate brightness for light to be emitted by the light-emission device, and transmits the acquired set brightness information to the light-emission device.
Surgical lighting system that reduces risk of excessive radiant energy
A light system monitors an area of interest for exposure to radiant energy provided by an operating room light head. At least one operating parameter of the light head is obtained, and based on the at least one operating parameter it is determined if the area of interest has been or will be exposed to radiant energy exceeding a prescribed threshold over a prescribed time period. Based on the determination, the system at least one of automatically adjusts an operating setting of the at least one light head or generates a warning of possible overexposure to radiant energy in the area of interest.

Modular indicator
An indicator module includes first electrodes disposed on a first support surface, each of the first electrodes having a flexible portion having a sloped section forming an oblique angle with the first support surface, a second electrodes disposed on a second support surface spaced apart from the first support surface along a longitudinal direction, a set of conductors elongated substantially in the longitudinal direction, each of the first electrodes being electrically connected to the a respective one of the second electrodes via a respective one of the conductors, and an indicator circuit, such as a set of LEDs, electrically connected to one or more of the conductors and adapted to generate a human perceptible signal when the indicator circuit receives electrical power from the one or more of the conductors.
Detection circuit for detecting light-off modes performed by silicon-controlled dimmer
The invention provides a detection circuit for detecting light-off modes performed by a silicon-controlled dimmer which comprises a voltage detection circuit receiving an output signal and generating a voltage detection signal according to the output signal, and a delay circuit connected to the voltage detection circuit, receiving the voltage detection signal, and delaying the voltage detection signal in order to output a detection signal. The invention detects the output signal through the voltage detection circuit, and delays the detected voltage detection signal to output the corresponding detection signal, and then the detection signal effectively distinguishes the light-off modes performed by the silicon-controlled dimmer to meet requirements of users.
External detection see-through door and external detection see-through cabinet having same
One embodiment of the present disclosure provides an external detection see-through door of a cabinet that stores objects. The external detection see-through door includes a transmission window, a sensor configured to detect a specific external condition in front of the transmission window, a light emitting module configured to increase an amount of emitted light according to a signal from the sensor, which has detected the specific external condition, to increase an amount of light that is reflected from inside the cabinet and heads toward the transmission window, and an optical film that is provided on the transmission window and has a light transmittance that prevents the cabinet from being see-through from the outside before the sensor detects the specific condition and allows the cabinet to be see-through from the outside due to light that is reflected from inside the cabinet and transmitted through the transmission window and the optical film due to the light emitting module increasing the amount of emitted light according to the signal from the sensor that has detected the specific external condition.
LED power transmission line with load identification function and load identification method
An LED power transmission line with load identification function is coupled to an LED power control apparatus having a plurality of power output ports and an LED load. The LED power transmission line includes a power transmission circuit, a signal transmission circuit, and a memory apparatus. The power transmission circuit transmits a power outputted from the power output port to the LED load. The signal transmission circuit is coupled to a control module of the LED power apparatus through the power output port. The memory apparatus stores an LED specification information related to an electrical specification of the LED load. The LED specification information is provided to the control module through the signal transmission circuit so that the control module limits an output current outputted from the power output port according to the LED specification information.
