A rear liftgate window assembly for a vehicle includes a glass window panel configured to be pivotally mounted at a rear portion of a vehicle so as to be pivotable between a closed position and an opened position. A lighting device is disposed at an inner surface of the glass window panel and includes (i) at least one light source adhesively attached at the inner surface of the glass window panel, (ii) electrical connectors disposed at the inner surface of the glass window panel, and (iii) electrically conductive traces established at the inner surface of the glass window panel between the light sources and the electrical connectors. The electrical connectors are configured to electrically connect to a power source of the vehicle when the rear liftgate window assembly is mounted at the vehicle.
Method of using printed highly flexible conductive ink bus bars to transfer power to heated components
A resistive heating circuit for a heated or ice protected aircraft structure includes a flexible dielectric substrate, a resistive heating element supported by the substrate, and a bus bar. The bus bar is electrically connected to the resistive heating element and includes a conductive ink printed onto the substrate such that the bus bar and resistive heating element flex freely with the heated or ice protected aircraft structure. Heated or ice protected aircraft structures and methods of making resistive heating circuits for heated or ice protected aircraft structures are also described.
Vehicular window assembly with magnetic connector
A window assembly for a vehicle includes a window panel having an electrically conductive element disposed thereat. An electrical connector is attached at the window panel and is electrically conductively connected to the electrically conductive element. The electrical connector includes a ferromagnetic material. The electrical connector is attached at the window panel via solder, and the electrical connector is held in place via an electromagnet during the soldering process.

The transparent heating element has a pair of bus bars spaced apart from each other in a first direction, and a plurality of coupling conductors coupling the pair of bus bars. The coupling conductors are arranged in a second direction not parallel to the first direction. The coupling conductor is folded back at least twice in the first direction.

A back door including an opening, includes: a resinous outer panel; a resinous inner panel; a metallic reinforce disposed between the outer panel and the inner panel; and a rear window glass covering the opening. The rear window glass includes: a defogger including a first bus bar that extends in an upper-lower direction, a second bus bar that is disposed apart from the first bus bar in a horizontal direction and extends in the upper-lower direction, and a plurality of heating wires that connect the first bus bar to the second bus bar; an auxiliary element connected to the defogger; and an antenna disposed so as to be surrounded by the defogger and the auxiliary element.
