PTC heater
The present invention relates to a PT heater and, more specifically, to a PTC heater which: mechanically fixes a heating element, a terminal, an insulating layer, and a heat-radiating unit, which constitute the PTC heater, by bending a fixing projection of a hook structure formed at a heat rod; and further has an auxiliary fixing protrusion capable of fixing the position of the heating element so as to increase the adhesiveness between the PTC element and the heat-radiating unit, thereby enabling performance to improve and facilitating assembly through the heat rod.
Electric heating device and method for its production
An electric heating device includes a housing having a partition wall which separates a connection chamber from a heating chamber for dissipating heat and from which at least one receiving pocket protrudes into the heating chamber as a heating rib. A PTC heating device with at least one PTC element and conductor tracks for energizing the PTC element with different polarities, which are electrically conductively connected to the latter and which are electrically connected in the connection chamber, are received in the housing. The PTC element and at least one of the conductor tracks are received in a heater casing. The heater casing is pressed into the receiving pocket subject to plastic deformation of the heater casing and/or the receiving pocket.
Static plate heating arrangement
A static plate heating arrangement includes a faceplate including a port extending from an exterior surface of the faceplate to an interior surface of the faceplate, a fixed resistance heater in thermal communication with the interior surface and surrounding the port, and a self-regulating heater in thermal communication with the interior surface and surrounding the fixed resistance heater. The fixed resistance heater and the self-regulating heater are electrically connected in series.
PPTC heater and material having stable power and self-limiting behavior
A resistance heater may include a polymer positive temperature coefficient (PPTC) material, arranged in a ring shape that defines a heater body; and an electrode assembly, comprising two or more electrodes arranged in contact with the heater body at two or more locations, wherein PPTC material comprises: a polymer matrix, the polymer matrix defining a PPTC body; and a conductive filler component, disposed in the polymer matrix.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND DEVICES FOR CREATING A YOGURT CULTURE
A yogurt fermentation system comprising a flexible insulated cover configured to cover and contact the sides of a yogurt culture container containing a yogurt culture; a heating element dispersed within the flexible insulated cover; a temperature regulator configured to regulate the heating element and maintain a temperature sufficient to ferment the yogurt culture, and methods of culturing yogurt using said system.
PTC HEATER
A heating apparatus is disclosed. The heating apparatus comprises a PTC heating element, a first electrode, a second electrode, a first protection layer, a second protection layer, a first interlayer, and a second interlayer. A hardness of the first protection layer is greater than that of the first interlayer. A hardness of the second protection layer is greater than that of the second interlayer.
Heat-generating element and electric heating device containing such
A heat-generating element for an electric heating device includes a heating element casing which comprises a casing element formed from a ceramic material and a casing mating element formed from a ceramic material. The two casing elements bear against each other in a sealing manner and enclose, in a sealing manner between each other, a PTC element and conductor tracks. The conductor tracks bear, in an electrically conductive manner, against the PTC element and are assigned different polarities for energizing the PTC element. The heating element casing carries contact strips connected in an electrically conductive manner to the associated conductor tracks. At least one of the conductor tracks is formed by an electrically conductive element which is provided with through holes and which, in a height direction of the conductor track, comprises discrete points of support that bear against the PTC element and one of casing element and casing mating element. The present invention further relates to an electric heating device with at least one heater casing with a heat-generating element of the type described here that is arranged in a circulation chamber with a heating element casing joining at least one PTC element and contact strips energizing the PTC element as a structural unit. The heat generating element has the contact strips electrically connected to the PTC element projecting over itself. A partition wall separates the circulation chamber from a connection chamber of the heater casing. The contact strips of the PTC heating element protrude through the partition wall and are exposed and electrically connected.
Radome Device for a Radar Sensor of a Vehicle, Comprising a Heating Element for Controlling the Temperature of a Preferred Accumulation Region, Method for Operating a Heating Element of a Radome Device
A radome device for a radar sensor of a vehicle has a radome with a central region which is permeable to electromagnetic radiation from the radar sensor. The radome device includes a heating element for controlling the temperature of a central region of the radome, wherein a heat output can be introduced into the central region of the radome by way of electrical energy. The central region has a preferred accumulation region, within which precipitation from the surroundings of the vehicle preferably accumulates when the radome device is arranged on the vehicle as intended. An overall heat output that is different from the heat output can be introduced into the preferred accumulation region.
