Aerosol generating device
An aerosol generating device including a housing of which is provided therein with a cavity for receiving a smokable material; a holding mechanism for holding the smokable material in the cavity along the radial direction and an infrared emitter located outside the cavity along the radial direction to radiate infrared rays to heat the smokable material. A distance between an inner surface of the infrared emitter and the central axis of the cavity is larger than the shortest distance between the holding mechanism and the central axis of the cavity, so that a certain space is maintained between the smokable material and the inner surface of the infrared emitter when the smokable material is received in the cavity, thereby preventing the infrared emitter from heating the smokable material by contact conduction.
Aerosol-generating systems with overheating prevention
An aerosol-generating system includes an electric heater, a battery and control circuitry. The electric heater is configured to vaporize an aerosol-forming substance. The battery is configured to power the electric heater. The control circuitry is configured to: prevent charging of the battery in response to detecting that the electric heater is in an operation state; or prevent operation of the electric heater in response to detecting that the battery is in a charging state.
ATOMIZING STRUCTURAL MEMBER, ATOMIZING DEVICE AND AEROSOL GENERATING DEVICE
An atomizing structural member includes an atomizing core assembly and a heating element; the atomizing core assembly includes an atomizing portion and a liquid guiding portion, the heating element is embedded in the atomizing portion, and the atomizing portion is an article of porous material; the liquid guiding portion is arranged to be in contact with the atomizing portion, and the liquid guiding portion is used to deliver an atomizing medium to the atomizing portion; the atomizing portion has an inner wall and an outer wall, the inner wall forms a first atomizing face and a first air channel that delivers aerosol generated from the first atomizing face, the outer wall forms a second atomizing face, and the liquid guiding portion is provided with at least one opening to form a second air channel that delivers the aerosol generated from the second atomizing face.
Aerosol-generating system with motor
An aerosol-generating system may include a liquid storage portion configured to hold aerosol-forming substrate, a vaporizer, and a pump. The liquid storage portion includes a movable wall and an outlet. The vaporizer includes a heating element having a structure that at least partially defines an internal passage. The pump may deliver liquid aerosol-forming substrate from the outlet of the liquid storage portion to the internal passage of the heating element. The pump may include a micro stepper motor with a drive shaft that is configured to rotate a particular amount based on performing an individual step, a piston connected to the movable wall, and a lead screw connecting the drive shaft to the piston and configured to translate rotation of the drive shaft into axial movement of the piston and the movable wall. The vaporizer may at least partially vaporize the delivered liquid aerosol-forming substrate.
Devices for vaporization of a substance
Devices for generating and releasing vapor. In particular, described herein are portable devices for generating a low-temperature inhalable vapor having an elongated tubular body containing a vaporization chamber and a battery-powered heater, a removable mouthpiece covering the vaporization chamber, a display configured to indicate the temperature of the vaporization chamber; a microcontroller configured to regulate the temperature of the vaporization chamber, and a control to select from among a variety of temperature settings.
Atomizer
A heating wire assembly including a heating wire and a plurality of fixing screws configured to fix the heating wire. When in repair or maintenance, the plurality of fixing screws is screwed out from the heating wire thereby facilitating the replacement of the heating wire.
Electric heating device and method for its production
An electric heating device includes a housing having a partition wall which separates a connection chamber from a heating chamber for dissipating heat and from which at least one receiving pocket protrudes into the heating chamber as a heating rib. A PTC heating device with at least one PTC element and conductor tracks for energizing the PTC element with different polarities, which are electrically conductively connected to the latter and which are electrically connected in the connection chamber, are received in the housing. The PTC element and at least one of the conductor tracks are received in a heater casing. The heater casing is pressed into the receiving pocket subject to plastic deformation of the heater casing and/or the receiving pocket.
HEATER ASSEMBLY AND AEROSOL GENERATING APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME
A heater assembly includes a heating element formed in a mesh having a tubular shape, and configured to generate heat when electricity is supplied, and a plurality of electrodes respectively connected to opposite end portions the heating element in a lengthwise direction, extending in a circumferential direction of the heating element, and configured to supply the electricity to the heating element.
