A catheter for vascular insertion, including a catheter body defining a first lumen and a second lumen, and including a distal region. The distal region may include a first distal opening in fluid communication with the first lumen, and a second distal opening in fluid communication with the second lumen. The distal region may also include a first lateral opening defined by the catheter body and in fluid communication with the first lumen, and a second lateral opening defined by the catheter body and in fluid communication with the second lumen. One or both of the first and second lateral openings may be defined by an angle cross-cut through an outer perimeter of the catheter body.

Apparatus and method for the vibratory stimulation of at least one portion of a vascular access device for its monitoring

The present invention relates to an apparatus for monitoring a vascular access device, including at least one signal generator for generating vibrations in order to stimulate the vascular access device or a portion thereof to vibrate, at least one signal receiver for detecting vibrations of the vascular access device or of said portion thereof, and at least one evaluation device for evaluating the detected vibrations. Moreover a method for monitoring the vascular access device by using the apparatus of the invention is specified.

Hemodialysis catheter with displaceable lumens to disrupt a fibrous sheet

A hemodialysis catheter with an integrated means of displacing away from each other portions of a distal end of a tube assembly. The displacement serves to allow a fibrous sheath to be disrupted without removing the catheter from a patient.

An endovascular anastomotic connector and method of using the same. The endovascular anastomotic connector includes a vascular conduit and a supply conduit. The vascular conduit has proximal and distal ends that reside within a vascular structure. The supply conduit extends at an angle from the vascular conduit. The proximal end of the supply conduit is configured to be attached to an auxiliary device.

Connection system for creating a connection channel for bodily fluids
09744286 · 2017-08-29 · ·

A connection system for creating a vascular cannula for connection to a blood vessel includes a flexible hose element in the form of a graft, a conduit element and, disposed therebetween, a connecting element establishing fluid-tight connections, wherein a retaining element is equipped with a radially outwardly elastically beadable snap ring, which, in the connected state, can be snapped in behind a detent surface of one of the parts of the connection system.

High-flow port and infusion needle systems

The present invention relates to a multi-reservoir port, catheter, and non-coring needle system that supports high-flow applications such as hemodialysis and apheresis. In particular, the invention relates to improvements to provide optimal flow rates, septum life, and septum/needle stability when introducing fluid into the multi-reservoir port.

IMPLANTABLE VASCULAR ACCESS DEVICE
20220305248 · 2022-09-29 ·

A vascular access device for haemodialysis permanently implantable in a patient having a pre-existing arteriovenous fistula or, alternatively, in a vein, an artery or between a vein and an artery, to create an artificial arteriovenous fistula and a vascular access healing device and a sterile package containing a single-use device of collecting and/or injecting blood usable in combination with the vascular access device.

FLUID ACCESS DEVICES AND METHODS

Fluid access devices include a machine-side hydraulic circuit and a patient-side hydraulic circuit, and are configurable between a connected state and at least one disconnected state. In the connected state, fluid flows between the machine-side hydraulic circuit and the patient-side hydraulic circuit. In the disconnected state, fluid does not flow between the machine-side hydraulic circuit and the patient-side hydraulic circuit. In some disconnected states, fluid recirculates through at least one of the machine-side hydraulic circuit or the patient-side hydraulic circuit in the disconnected state.

Retroperfusion systems, devices, and methods
09724214 · 2017-08-08 · ·

Devices, systems, and methods for providing retroperfusion to at least one ischemic tissue in a minimally invasive manner are disclosed. At least some of the embodiments disclosed herein enable an anastomosis to be formed between a vein and an artery without the use of sutures and through a non-invasive procedure. In addition, various disclosed embodiments provide a cannula device comprising a Y-configuration for bifurcating arterial flow between an anastomosis and the underlying artery. The devices, systems and methods herein can further provide simultaneous autoretroperfusion therapy to more than one area of an ischemic tissue.
