The present disclosure relates to systems, apparatuses, and methods for assembling cartridges for aerosol delivery devices. The cartridges may be assembled by transporting carriages between various substations at which parts are added to a base. In another assembly method, the base may be moved between a plurality of robots which direct the base downwardly into contact with components to couple the components therewith. An inspection system may inspect the cartridges at various stages of completion.
Variable pitch resistance coil heater
A resistance element includes a resistance coil having a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The resistance coil defines a plurality of first portions defining a first constant diameter and a plurality of second portions defining a second constant diameter smaller than the first diameter. At least one of the first portions and the second portions has a continuously variable pitch. The resistance coil may also further define two third portions, each third portion being disposed adjacent to a corresponding first or second end. The resistance element may be disposed between first and second conducting pins in a heater.
AUTOMOBILE GLAZING DEFOGGER
An automobile glazing defogger includes of one or more primary defogger coil in a predetermined pattern, design or other representation and a secondary defogger coil covering the rest of the automobile glazing. The primary defogger coil is heated faster to a specified temperature to provide faster defogging than the secondary defogger coil and to indicate the working of the defogger.
Apparatus, system and method of operating an additive manufacturing nozzle
Apparatuses, systems and methods of providing heat to enable an FDM additive manufacturing nozzle having refined print control and enhanced printing speed. The heating element may include at least one sheath sized to fittedly engage around an outer circumference of the FDM printer nozzle; at least one wire coil at least partially contacting an inner diameter of the sheath; and at least one energy receiver associated with the at least one wire coil.
Segmented PTC Heating Element Array
A PTC heating appliance has a heating element array including a first plurality of PTC chips stacked into a second plurality of columns and including porous heat-exchanging radiators each in thermal communication with one or more of the columns and arranged such that heat produced by any of the PTC chips is conducted into the porous heat-exchanging radiator or radiators with which it is in thermal communication. A fan is arranged to force air through the porous heat exchanging radiators such that the heat therein is extracted and blown from the appliance. A control is adapted to cause selective energization of sub-groups of the PTC chips and has at least a high and a low setting. A higher number of the PTC chips are energized during the high setting than during the low setting, and each subgroup includes at least one PTC chip of each column.
Roofing product including a heater
A roofing product can include a heater. In an embodiment, the heater can have different areas that have different heat flux capacities, different portions having heater elements of different lengths or a combination thereof. The roofing product can be installed so that an area of the roof that has a higher heat load, such as near an eave and a valley of the roof, can receive more heat. In another embodiment, the roofing product includes an overhang section that includes at least a portion of the heater. The roofing product can be installed, and the overhang section can be coupled to an object that extends beyond an edge of the roof or over a plane defined by a roof. Many different manufacturing techniques can be used to form the heaters.
IMPROVED ELECTRO-THERMAL HEATING ELEMENTS
The present invention relates to methods and electro-thermal heating elements in which the electro-thermal heating element comprises a cut-out. Forming at least one multi-resistance patch for the cut-out and attaching the at least one multi-resistance patch to the electro-thermal heating element proximate to the cut-out.
SCREEN-PRINTING SCREEN AND PROCESS FOR OBTAINING GLAZINGS EQUIPPED WITH ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE PATTERNS
A screen-printing screen for printing electrically conductive patterns on glass sheets, includes a main mask, the aperture size of the main mask being larger in a lateral portion than in the central portion, the screen furthermore including, in at least one double-mask zone, located in the central portion, at least one secondary mask fastened to a face of the main mask, the aperture size of the or each secondary mask being larger than the aperture size of the main mask in the central portion, and the mesh of the or each secondary mask making, with the mesh of the main mask, an angle α comprised between 1 and 89°.
Spot Heater
A device is described in which the shape of a resistive heater material is configured to provide rapid and strong heating of a small area. The resistive heating material is heated unevenly while efficiently using power.
