An X-ray tube has a cathode housing having a radiation exit window, a cooled anode, a hot cathode, an insulation body, a supply line for coolant to the anode and a discharge line for coolant from the anode. The supply and discharge lines have a plurality of turns in the insulation body. The potted body has an inner and outer mold. The anode, the cathode housing and the potted body are fastened on the ceramic body. At least one plastic directing body aligns the hoses separated from the outer and inner mold. The potting space is filled with a plastic potting compound in a cured state so that the intermediate spaces between the turns on the one hand and the outer mold and the inner mold on the other hand are occupied by the plastic of the at least one directing body and/or the plastic of the potting compound.

The two parts include walls encompassing a tunnel interior space extending completely around the axis of rotation. The data transmission structures are arranged in the tunnel interior space. The walls are electrically conductive structures reflecting electromagnetic alternating fields in the transmission frequency range. An absorber structure is arranged at least on a part of the walls toward the tunnel interior space and the absorber structure absorbs electromagnetic alternating fields in the range of the transmission frequency.

According to one embodiment, an X-ray CT apparatus includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to acquire set tube current waveform, and specify, based on the set tube current waveform, a period of a first tube current and a period of a second tube current lower than the first tube current. The processing circuitry is further configured to determine a waveform of a grid voltage such that a first grid voltage is applied during a period corresponding to the period of the first tube current and a second grid voltage, which is higher than the first grid voltage, is applied during a period corresponding to the period of the second tube current.

An X-ray diagnostic apparatus according to an embodiment includes: an X-ray tube including a target configured to generate X-rays in response to emission of electrons thereto, a plurality of filaments configured to emit electrons into substantially the same position on the target, and a grid used in common among the plurality of filaments; intermediate potential setting circuitry configured to set intermediate potential in a position between the plurality of filaments and the target by using the grid; and filament potential controlling circuitry configured to change one or more filaments selected from among the plurality of filaments to emit the electrons to the target, by controlling potential levels of the plurality of filaments with respect to the intermediate potential for each filament, in conjunction with switching of X-ray tube voltage.

Methods and systems for operating an electronic system

In one example, an electronic system includes, a user interface comprising an input device, a first actuator and a second actuator, the first and second actuators dually actuated by the input device, and a controller, including a comparator, a programmable device, and executable instructions residing in non-transitory memory thereon to, receive first and second output signals from the first and second actuators, respectively, convert the first and second output signals to first and second real-time logic states at the comparator, input the first and second real-time logic states from the comparator to the programmable device, and determine a fault status of the first and second actuators based on the first and second logic states input to a state machine of the programmable device, wherein the first and second logic states input to the state machine include the real-time logic states and historical logic states stored at the controller.
