Light-directed electrochemical patterning of copper structures
A method creating a patterned film with cuprous oxide and light comprising the steps of electrodepositing copper from a solution onto a substrate; illuminating selected areas of said deposited copper with light having photon energies above the band gap energy of 2.0 eV to create selected illuminated sections and non-illuminated sections; and stripping non-illuminated sections leaving said illuminated sections on the substrate. An additional step may include galvanically replacing the copper with one or more noble metals.
Method for forming auxiliary conductive unit on transparent electrode of touch sensor and product thereof
A method for manufacturing a touch sensor includes the steps of: a) forming both a first touch conductive trail pattern (TCTP) and a first auxiliary conductive trail pattern (ACTP) on a first side of a dielectric substrate; and b) forming both a second TCTP and the second ACTP on a second side of the dielectric substrate, wherein each of the first and second ACTPs has micro auxiliary conductive units electrically disposed in an area range of the first and second TOTPs, and a shading rate of the micro auxiliary conductive units is below 1%. The first and second TCTPs and the first and second ACTPs jointly constitute a touch sensor. A sheet resistance of each of the first and second TCTPs is between 80 and 150 ohm/sq, and a sheet resistance of each of the first and second ACTPs is between 0.05 and 0.2 ohm/sq.
Connector interface assembly for enclosed vessels and associated systems and methods
Systems, methods, and apparatus that employ a connector assembly having a substrate layer with an inner aperture and an outer periphery, and one or more signal traces disposed on the substrate that extend from an inner first location to an outer second location of the apparatus, for communicating data between electronic devices positioned within an interior volume of an enclosed vessel and complementary electronic devices positioned in an ambient environment external to the enclosed vessel. An inner connector is conductively connected the signal traces at the inner first location of each signal trace, and an outer connector is conductively connected to the one or more signal traces at the outer second location of each signal trace. A substantially flat exterior surface extends radially over at least a portion of a region between the respective first locations and the respective second locations.
Substrate with buried component and manufacture method thereof
A substrate is manufactured by drilling a chip containing groove in a composite inner layer circuit structure, having a component connecting end of a circuit layer protruding from a mounting side wall in the chip containing groove, mounting a chip component in the chip containing groove, and connecting the surface bonding pad to the component connecting end. The chip component in the present invention penetrates at least two circuit layers, and the surface bonding pad is bonded to the component connecting end of the circuit layer directly, reducing the occupied area of the chip component in each one of the circuit layers, and increasing the area for circuit disposing and the possible amount of chip components that may be mounted in the substrate.
