A hub comprises a main body with a speaker; a communication module included in the main body; a window formed of a transparent material; a display panel for displaying a screen based on information exchanged via the communication module; and a cover housing coupled to a top of the main body and having a display panel and an opening at an upper surface thereof. The window is provided on an upper surface of the display panel, wherein a normal vector with respect to a predetermined plane in which the opening falls is at an acute angle relative to a horizontal plane, and a vector acquired by orthogonally projecting the normal vector with respect to the horizontal plane faces forward. A portion of the inner surface of the cover housing is parallel with the normal vector, and the window is provided so that an upper surface faces the direction of the normal vector.
Control feature of a protective case for engaging a switch of an electronic device
According to various embodiments, there is provided a case for an electronic device. The case includes a cover having a peripheral wall defining an interior for receiving at least a portion of the electronic device, the cover having a protrusion extending in a length dimension. The case further includes a control feature extending through the peripheral wall of the cover. The control feature has a first body portion configured to engage a switch of the electronic device, when the electronic device is received in the interior of the cover. The control feature further has a second body portion accessible from outside of the interior of the cover. The control feature further has a central body portion between the first body portion and the second body portion, the central body portion having a channel in which the protrusion is received, wherein the control feature is moveable along the length dimension of the protrusion, relative to the cover.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING PROTECTIVE HINGE STRUCTURE PREVENTING FOREIGN MATTER FROM ENTERING ELECTRONIC DEVICE
Disclosed is an electronic device including a first housing, a second housing, a display disposed on the first housing and the second housing, a first hinge plate coupled to the first housing, a second hinge plate coupled to the second housing, and at least one hinge structure coupled to the first hinge plate and the second hinge plate, wherein the at least one hinge structure comprises a center bracket, a first hinge bracket coupled to the center bracket and configured to rotate in a first direction, a second hinge bracket connected to the center bracket and configured to rotate in a second direction, and at least one hole formed in the center bracket.
Glass device housings
An electronic device may have a glass housing structures. The glass housing structures may be used to cover a display and other internal electronic device components. The glass housing structure may have multiple glass pieces that are joined using a glass fusing process. A peripheral glass member may be fused along the edge of a planar glass member to enhance the thickness of the edge. A rounded edge feature may be formed by machining the thickened edge. Raised fused glass features may surround openings in the planar glass member. Multiple planar glass members may be fused together to form a five-sided box in which electronic components may be mounted. Raised support structure ribs may be formed by fusing glass structures to a planar glass member. Opaque masking material and colored glass may be used to create portions of the glass housing structures that hide internal device components from view.
MODULAR NETWORK SWITCHES, ASSOCIATED STRUCTURES, AND ASSOCIATED METHODS OF MANUFACTURE AND USE
Modular network switches and other computer systems are described herein. A modular network switch can include a latching device for installing and removing computer modules (e.g., line cards) from an associated cabinet or enclosure. The network switch can also include interconnected computer modules (e.g., line cards, fabric cards, control modules, etc.) that include circuit boards oriented parallel to the flow of cooling air through the cabinet in the absence of a backplane or midplane oriented perpendicular to the air flow. The absence of such backplanes and/or midplanes provides a more direct air flow path through the cabinet, thereby enabling a more efficient flow of cooling air and lower operating temperatures. Additionally, the network switch can include an orthogonal arrangement of data planes, control planes, and/or power planes that can be efficiently interconnected to increase operational speed and further facilitate the flow of cooling air through the computer cabinet.
Faux column intermediate distribution frame enclosure
A vertical column assembly including an intermediate distribution frame enclosure with an internal structure. The vertical column assembly also includes side panels, door assemblies, and a top cover assembly. The internal structure is hidden by the side panels, the door assemblies, and the top cover assembly. The vertical column assembly encases the network equipment installed within the internal structure.
METALLIC HOUSING OF ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A method of manufacturing a casing of an electronic device including the following steps is provided. A metallic housing is provided, wherein the metallic housing has an inner surface and an outer surface opposite to the inner surface and includes a back region and at least one side region. At least one gap, a plurality of apertures and a non-conductive layer are formed on the inner surface of the metallic housing, wherein the apertures is formed on a surface of the at least one gap, part of the non-conductive layer is formed in the at least one gap and extended from the back region to the at least one side region, and part of the non-conductive layer is extended into the apertures. Part of the metallic housing is removed for exposing part of the non-conductive layer, thereby forming a plurality of non-conductive spacers located in the at least one gap.
Wearable electronic device
A wearable electronic device includes a ring-shaped main body, plural receiving parts, plural circuit boards and a wiring board. The plural receiving parts are disposed within the ring-shaped main body. The plural circuit boards are disposed within the corresponding receiving parts. One of the plural circuit boards corresponds to one receiving part. The wiring board is 111 within the ring-shaped main body and electrically connected with the plural circuit boards. Consequently, the circuit boards are electrically connected with each other through the wiring board.
HOUSING AND ANTENNA ARCHITECTURE FOR MOBILE DEVICE
A device includes a display and a housing. The housing at least partially surrounds the display. The housing includes a first housing segment defining at least a first portion of an exterior surface of the device and a first interlock feature having an interlock surface that is offset with respect to an end surface of the first housing segment. The first interlock feature has a first opening formed in the interlock surface.
