MODULAR POWER SUPPLY
A modular power supply is disclosed. The modular power supply includes a power supply unit and an expansion unit. The expansion unit is detachably disposed on the power supply unit and located on one side of the power supply unit in a thickness direction of the modular power supply.
Spring lock
A spring lock includes a sinusoidal spring that has one or more crests and troughs formed along a length of the sinusoidal spring, the length extending along a sliding axis, the one or more crests and troughs forming a sinusoidal spring profile. The spring lock further includes a lock bar that has a track extending along the sliding axis, the track being configured to hold the sinusoidal spring and allow the sinusoidal spring to move along the sliding axis, the track further including one or more depressions and plateaus with the depressions and plateaus forming a lock bar profile, wherein the spring lock is locked when the sinusoidal spring profile and the lock bar profile are out-of-phase and the spring lock is unlocked when the sinusoidal spring profile and the lock bar profile are in-phase.
Seal cover
A seal cover for closing an annular opening portion having locking projections provided on an outer peripheral surface includes a fitting portion having a seal ring (example of a sealing member) fit on an outer peripheral surface and locking portions configured to be pushed and resiliently deformed by the locking projections and move over the locking projections to be locked to the locking projections when the fitting portion is fit into the opening portion. Tapered surfaces for delaying a time point when the locking portions are maximally resiliently deformed from a time point when the seal ring is maximally compressed when the fitting portion is fit and inserted into the opening portion are formed on front end parts of the locking portions in a connecting direction.
Electronic device including high-frequency transmission circuit
Disclosed is an electronic device comprising a first component, a second component, and a signal path interface coupled between the first component and the second component, the signal path interface including a printed circuit board (PCB) having a rigid PCB portion and a flexible PCB portion, wherein a first signal line and a second signal line extend through the rigid PCB portion and the flexible PCB portion for transmitting signals from the first component to the second components, and a plurality of ground lines extend through the rigid PCB portion and the flexible PCB portion, and wherein each of the plurality of ground lines extending through the rigid PCB portion is connected to one or more conductive layers through conductive vias.
Server node connector mating condition health monitoring and reporting
A server node connection system uses two or more proximity sensors per server node to determine progressive, real time changes in wipe length for each individual connector on the node that is connected to an opposing header connector on header connected to a midplane of the server assembly/rack. The system is capable of scanning, monitoring, trending, and alarming.
CONTROLLING MULTIPLE STATUS INDICATORS FOR ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT HOUSED IN AN ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT CHASSIS
An apparatus comprises an electronic equipment chassis comprising a housing and at least one lid, the housing comprising a control panel with a first set of one or more status indicators. The apparatus also comprises at least one latch configured for securing the at least one lid to the housing, the at least one latch comprising a second set of one or more status indicators. The apparatus further comprises a processing device configured to determine status information for electronic equipment housed in the electronic equipment chassis, the status information characterizing whether at least one of opening and removing the at least one lid is safe to perform at a given time, and controlling, based at least in part on the determined status information, at least one of the first set of indicators and at least one of the second set of indicators.
Cover apparatus
A cover apparatus for controlling airflow in a computing system. The cover apparatus includes a cover bracket configured to attach to the computing system in alignment with an opening of a module within the computing system. The cover bracket defines an aperture through which one or more components can be inserted into and removed from the module. The cover apparatus includes a cover door attached to the cover bracket and configured to rotate relative to the cover bracket between an open position and a closed position. The cover door closes the first aperture of the cover bracket with the cover door in the closed position. The cover apparatus includes a catch configured to apply a force to the cover door in the closed position. The force is sufficient to maintain the cover door in the closed position but allows a user to manually open the cover door for accessing the module.
Automatic transfer switch (ATS) module for an electronic rack
According to one embodiment, an automatic transfer switch (ATS) module for an electronic rack includes a container and four pairs of relays that are disposed within the container, each pair having a first relay connected in series with a second relay. A first two pairs of relays are arranged to connect to a first power source and are arranged to connect to a power supply unit, and a second two pairs of relays are arranged to connect to a second power source and are arranged to connect to the power supply unit. The four pairs of relays are arranged in one of several open-closed configurations, such that in a first open-closed configuration the first source connects to the power supply unit through a first two pairs of relays and in a second open-closed configuration the second source connects to the power supply unit through a second two pairs of relays.
Data storage device adaptor with securement mechanism
In one embodiment, an apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a printed circuit board. The apparatus also includes a first connector coupled to the printed circuit board. The first connector is configured to couple the apparatus to a computing device. The apparatus further includes a second connector coupled to the printed circuit board. The second connector is configured to couple the apparatus to a data storage device. The apparatus further includes a securement mechanism comprising a first portion and a second portion. The securement mechanism is movable about the apparatus between a first position and a second position. The first portion is configured to maintain the securement mechanism at the first position. The second portion is configured to secure the data storage device to the apparatus when the securement mechanism is in the first position.
Lock for faceplane infrastructure
A lock mechanism for a faceplane infrastructure coupled externally from a faceplate of a modular device includes a locking bar, a locking bar engagement element, and a securing device. When the lock mechanism is assembled and in a locked state, the locking bar is housed within the modular device. Further, when the lock mechanism is assembled and in the locked state, the locking bar engagement element is fixedly coupled to a first portion of the faceplane infrastructure and removably engaged with the locking bar through an aperture in the faceplate of the modular device.
