Modular EMF/RF shielded enclosures
A modular EMF/RF shielded enclosure having interconnected walls, floor and ceiling panel members such that passage of EMF/RF form or into the enclosure is blocked or attenuated. Quick-connect, quick-release compressive connector members composed of electrically conductive material are used to join adjacent panel members, such that the connector members carry the common ground between adjacent panels and a continuous shielding envelope in the nature of a Faraday cage is formed.
Test chamber and test system
This application relates to a test chamber for testing a device under test (DUT), the test chamber comprising: a plurality of chamber walls defining an interior of the test chamber which are configured to provide an anechoic and shielded test chamber, an antenna arrangement which is arranged in the form of a plane-wave synthesizing array and which is configured to emit plane-waves into the interior of the test chamber, a receiving area for receiving the DUT, wherein in a test mode the receiving area forms a region of measurement of the DUT, wherein the receiving area is formed by a portion of a first wall of the test chamber and wherein the receiving area is configured such that during test mode heat from the DUT is transferred to the outside of the test chamber. The application further relates to a test system comprising such a test chamber.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR CONSTRUCTING OR RETROFITTING ELECTROMAGNETICALLY SHIELDED FACILITIES
Electromagnetically shielding an enclosable structure having a floor, walls, a ceiling, and at least one closeable opening by applying a shielding wallcovering to at least a portion of one of the walls and applying a second type of shielding material to at least a portion of the enclosable structure, wherein the second type of shielding material differs from the shielding wallcovering. The shielding wall covering is wallpaper comprising a metal-coated broad good and a resin. Other types of shielding material may include a transparent, shielding window covering such as NiCVD coated screen of woven silk fibers; shielded flooring such as a layered combinations of Kevlar non-woven as a base layer, nickel-coated non-woven layers, and a PCF toughened polymer; and a transition shielding strip made of a base layer of the shielding wallpaper with a PCF toughened polymer coating over a portion of the strip.

Shielded Isolation Chamber
Apparatus and techniques for implementing an isolation chamber, and more particularly for implementing an EMF shielded isolation chamber. In various embodiments, an isolation tank includes a shell having an upper cover and a lower tank portion having one or more sidewalls connected to a floor. The lower tank portion is configured to hold liquid and the lower tank portion and the upper cover together define an interior chamber configured to receive a user. The isolation tank further includes a conductive shield associated with at least a portion of the shell and configured to shield at least a portion of the interior chamber from external electromagnetic fields. In various additional embodiments, the isolation tank includes a shield ground for electrically grounding the shield and/or a liquid ground for electrically grounding the liquid.
MULTI-SHELLED SHIELDED ROOM AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A MULTI-SHELLED SHIELDED ROOM
A multi-shelled shielded room is provided that has an outer shell with a first soft magnetic alloy having an initial permeability .sub.i1 and a maximum permeability .sub.max1 and an inner shell with a second soft magnetic alloy having an initial permeability .sub.i2 and a maximum permeability .sub.max2. The outer shell encases the inner shell and .sub.max1>.sub.max2 and .sub.i2>.sub.i1.

Electromagnetically shielded wallpaper
The electromagnetic shielding of an enclosable building structure is provided by applying a shielding wallcovering to at least a portion of building structure. The shielding wall covering is wallpaper comprising a metal-coated substrate core and resin. To connect the shielded wallpaper to the building structure a layer of the resin or an adhesive layer may be used.
