SLIDE ACCESS ENCLOSURE
An apparatus includes a structure having a plurality of first sides and a second side detachably joined to the plurality of first sides. The plurality of first sides define a volume, wherein the second side has a closed position in which the second side is joined to the plurality of first sides and an open position in which the side is detached from the plurality of sides, the plurality of first sides comprising a first material having electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding properties, the second side comprising a second material having EMI shielding properties. The apparatus also includes a movable chassis adapted to move between a first chassis position in which the chassis is entirely within the volume and a second chassis position in which at least a portion of the chassis is outside the volume, the chassis being adapted to hold an electronic device.
Electronic device and mounting method
An electronic device includes a housing; a plug-in unit that is inserted into the housing and electrically connected to a connection substrate within the housing; a guiding member that includes a retention portion retaining the plug-in unit, the guiding member being moved between a protruding position protruding from the housing to a front side of an insertion direction of the plug-in unit and a retracting position retracting to the housing side, the guiding member being electrically connected to the housing; a biasing member that biases the guiding member to the protruding position; and a conductive member that is positioned between the plug-in unit and the guiding member, the plug-in unit and the guiding member being in a conduction state by the conductive member.
Mitigating electromagnetic interference in a computing device
Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for mitigating electromagnetic interference within a computing device. A base unit is coupled to an inside of a computing device. One or more conductive elements are coupled to the base unit. The one or more conductive elements are located within an air flow such that the one or more conductive elements are movable in response to air movement generated by the air flow.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERFERENCE
A method for managing electromagnetic interference (EMI) includes: obtaining a request; in response to the request: terminating EMI generation by EMI emitting devices in an EMI suppressed internal volume of a data processing device to place the EMI emitting devices in a quiet state; placing the EMI suppressed internal volume into an EMI suppression compromised state to obtain access to the EMI emitting devices in the quiet state; replacing one of the EMI emitting devices in the quiet state, to obtain updated EMI emitting devices, while: the EMI suppressed internal volume is in the EMI suppression compromised state, and the EMI emitting devices are in the quiet state; placing the EMI suppressed internal volume into an EMI suppressed state after replacing the one of the EMI emitting devices; and enabling EMI generation by the updated EMI emitting devices to place the updated EMI emitting devices into an active state.
Electronic device and electromagnetic noise control method
An electronic device comprises a plurality of printed circuit boards having signal GNDs, a metal bar which electrically connects to the respective signal GNDs of the plurality of printed circuit boards, and a card basket which houses the plurality of printed circuit boards and the metal bar and serves as a frame GND. The electronic device also comprises a dielectric between the card basket and the metal bar. The metal bar, the card basket, and the dielectric constitute a noise control capacitor having specific frequency characteristics. By the specific frequency characteristics, the noise control capacitor releases electromagnetic noise occurring in the respective signal GNDs to an outside and shields external noise generated outside.
System and Method for Providing Wireless Communications to a Boxed Server
A crate for shipping an information handling system includes a first side comprising an electro-magnetic protective material. The electro-magnetic protective material inhibits electro-magnetic intrusions into the information handling. The crate also includes a second side comprising a first portion comprising the electro-magnetic protective material, and a second portion devoid of the electro-magnetic protective material. The second portion passes a wireless electro-magnetic signal to the information handling system.
CONFIGURABLE DOOR PANELS
A configurable door panel cover includes a first face of a first door that is perforated and includes one or more attachment points, which one or more configurable panels may attach to. The configurable door panel cover includes a fastener assembly that includes at least one fastener that attaches to the configurable door panel cover, and a spacing mechanism. The spacing mechanism attaches to the fastener that is attached to the configurable door panel cover and to one of the one or more attachment points on the first face of the first door. The spacing mechanism attaches the first configurable door panel cover at a first orientation that includes a first angle between the configurable door panel cover and the first spacing mechanism. The fastener assembly may be rotated to the configurable door panel cover.
FASTENING STRUCTURE OF DETACHABLE DOOR
A fastening structure of a detachable door including at least one door and a fastener is provided. The fastener includes a fixing portion, a locking portion and a manual operation portion. The fixing portion is used to fix the fastener on at least one door. The locking portion is used to lock the at least one door onto a housing or unlock the at least one door from the housing. The manual operation portion is used to facilitate a user to move the at least one door under an installed state.
RECEPTACLE ASSEMBLY AND MODULE ASSEMBLY
In a receptacle assembly, a module is guided by a guide rail and held inside an opening of a printed wiring board when a plug connector of the module is connected to a host connector.
