METHODS, DEVICES, AND SYSTEMS FOR FILTERING ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERFERENCE
Provided herein are methods, devices, and systems that relate to electromagnetic interference (EMI) filters that, in certain embodiments, comprise: (a) a housing comprising a substantially enclosed first compartment and a substantially enclosed second compartment; (b) a first circuit card located in the first compartment of the housing that converts a signal transmitted on a conductive based medium to a signal transmitted on a non-conductive based medium; (c) a second circuit card located in the second compartment of the housing that converts a signal transmitted on a non-conductive based medium to a signal transmitted on a conductive based medium; (d) at least one non-conductive based medium that transmits a signal from the first circuit card to the second circuit card; and (e) at least one waveguide through which the non-conductive based medium passes from the first compartment to the second compartment.
Apparatuses, systems, and methods for protection against the effects of an electromagnetic pulse
Apparatuses, systems, and methods for protection against the effects of an electromagnetic pulse (EMP). A system for protecting against an EMP may include an electronic device, a conductive element, and a connector apparatus coupleable between the electronic device and the conductive element. The conductive element may include a housing having a first end and a second end, the first end coupleable to the electronic device and the second end coupleable to the conductive element, a signal wire extending at least partially through the housing which conveys at least one signal between the first end and the second end, a grounding wire coupleable to the signal wire, and at least one suppression element coupleable to at least one of the signal wire and the grounding wire. A casing may receive at least a portion of the electronic device.
Noise suppression member
A noise suppression member comprising: a plurality of magnetic cores, and a case for arranging and housing the plurality of magnetic cores; the noise suppression member being configured such that a restraining member can be attached, the restraining member restraining a cable in a state of contact with an inner periphery of the plurality of magnetic cores at a location between an adjacent two of the plurality of magnetic cores, by coming into contact with the cable passing through an inner peripheral side of the plurality of magnetic core.

Provided is a noise reduction device including: a conductive bar of conductive material; a metal tubular portion with a through hole having the conductive bar penetrating therethrough and accommodating a magnetic material core and a substrate therein; a capacitor mounted on the substrate and having a first terminal connected to the conductive bar and a second terminal connected to an inner wall of the through hole; and a blocking unit blocking an opening of the through hole so as to affix the conductive bar with respect to the metal housing and the tubular portion. The tubular portion includes an outer peripheral surface having a threaded engagement part threadedly engaged with the metal housing; and the conductive bar has an outer end that functions as an output terminal.

Production-process-optimized filter device
A filter device for filtering electrical currents or electromagnetic interference, particularly common-mode interference. The filter device has a soft-magnetic core with a passage, a printed circuit board with a plurality of electronic components, and a holding section. The holding section of the printed circuit board can be put through the core passage wherein the passage is designed such that the holding section and the electronic components arranged on the holding section can be put through the passage.
