METHOD FOR APPLYING PATCHES TO HELMET COVERS
A template made of plywood or similar material is inserted into a cover for a protective helmet so that the cover is stretched and once the template is inserted the assembled combination of the cover and the template resembles the shape of a disk. The disk-shaped assembly is placed on top of the bottom plate of a heat press. A layer with a decal or sticker is placed on top of the disk-shaped assembly. A heat press cover sheet is then placed on top of the disk-shaped assembly so that it also becomes into contact with the top plate of the heat press when the heat press is closed. The heat press may be set to a temperature of 350 degrees Fahrenheit and it can be set in a closed position for about 30 seconds in order to transfer sufficient heat so that the decal or sticker is applied or affixed to the cover surface.
Versatile Protective Helmet Applique Assembly
The helmet appliqu assembly of the present invention permits a helmet wearer to upgrade the ballistic prevention capabilities of a traditional helmet quickly and efficiently. The helmet appliqu can be provided as part of a helmet appliqu system and/or assembly that includes internal-side connection means for attaching to a helmet and external-side connection means for receiving any of various external items such as identification tags, mounts and external equipment or attachments. The appliqu element can comprise various types of material, including, for example, ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE). In one embodiment of the present invention, multiple helmet appliqu elements are employed on the same helmet and include surfaces and portions that are cooperatively engageable for covering multiple areas of the helmet at the same time.
EXTERNAL SHOCK ABSORBING PAD FOR PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR WITH A DISPLAY FUNCTION
An external shock absorbing pad for helmets with a display function has a transparent shock absorbing pad that externally covers a protective helmet to provide additional impact protection by absorbing kinetic energy during impact. The shock absorbing pad is transparent so that any team logos or graphics are still visible after application. An adhesive is applied to an inner surface of the pad allows a user to apply the pad to the exterior portion of the helmet. The user peels back a protective backing and then applies the pad to the helmet so that it follows the contours and shape of the helmet. The pad is made from a polyurethane plastic.
Helmet cover
A helmet cover having a dome with an outer edge, having at least two engaging members are provided extending along the outer edge of the dome and a method of advertising using the helmet.
HELMET WITH BOUNDARY NUB AND ELASTOMER RETAINERS
A protective helmet for rotational energy management may include an outer protective shell including an outer surface and an inner surface, a portion of which may be spherically shaped. An inner protective shell may be disposed within the outer protective shell and include a spherically shaped outer surface oriented towards the inner surface of the outer protective shell. A surface area of the outer surface of the inner protective shell may be less than a surface area of the inner surface of the outer protective shell. A first elastomer member may extend through a first channel through the outer protective shell and the inner protective shell. A boundary nub may include a spherical shape and be integrally formed with the inner protective shell at a front lower edge of the inner protective shell.
COVER SYSTEM
A method and apparatus can include: providing a cover, the cover including face cover, neck cover, crown cover, side cover, and back cover; creating a cover opening in the cover above the face cover for exposure of facial features of a user from the cover; attaching a helmet cover at an attachment point near the back cover configured to expand around a helmet; and forming a helmet cover opening in the helmet.
Helmet
A helmet attachment system (5, 31) comprising a helmet (1), a net (5) arranged on the helmet (1), and a helmet attachment arrangement (31). The helmet attachment arrangement (31) has a base layer (33) and an attachment layer (35). The attachment layer (35) is attached on one face of the base layer (33). The attachment layer (35) comprises a plurality of attachment layer sections (35a) that have a mutual distance and that define a string-receiving pattern (37) configured to receive strings (9) of said net (5).

In one embodiment of the present invention, multiple helmet appliqu elements are employed on the same helmet and include surfaces and portions that are cooperatively engageable for covering multiple areas of the helmet at the same time.
Dual helmet
The present disclosure relates to a dual helmet that can be easily converted into two sets of helmets having protective cushioning, and which are comfortable, yet strong, safe, and up to the required standards. The helmet includes a first shell and a second shell defining a shell of a first helmet and a second helmet, respectively. The second shell is removably disposed over the first shell such that the helmet can be used as a single combine helmet when the shells are together, and further, the second shell can be separated from the first shell to form two separate helmets. The helmet includes a first cushion disposed within the first shell, and a second cushion for the second helmet being removably configured within the first cushion such that the second cushion can be separated by slightly bending it, and later can be configured with the second shell to form the second helmet and the first helmet, as required.
Outer shell for a safety helmet
The invention relates to an outer shell for a safety helmet (1), in particular for a motorcycle safety helmet, for distributing impact forces, said outer shell having an outer shell material (2). The outer shell is characterized in that, on a side (3) having the outer shell material (2) of the outer shell, the outer shell has a cover (4) having the outer shell material (2) in order to hold an antenna (5) between the cover (4) and the side (3). The invention further relates to a safety helmet (1) having such an outer shell and to a method for producing such an outer shell.
