DISPLAY DEVICE, AND METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A method for manufacturing a display device includes a first step of placing a substrate having a lower electrode formed thereon in a vacuum environment; a second step of forming in a vacuum an organic layer that includes a light emitting layer and covers the lower electrode; a third step of forming in a vacuum an upper electrode that covers the organic layer; a fourth step of forming in a vacuum a sealing layer that covers the upper electrode; and a cleaning step of cleaning the substrate after end of the first step before end of the fourth step.
SYSTEM AND METHOD BASED ON MULTI-SOURCE DEPOSITION FOR FABRICATING PEROVSKITE FILM
A system and method for fabricating a perovskite film is provided, the system including a substrate stage configured to rotate around its central axis at a rotation speed, a first set of evaporation units, each coupled to the side section or the bottom section of the chamber, a second set of evaporation units coupled to the bottom section, and a shield defining two or more zones having respective horizontal cross-sectional areas, which are open and facing the substrate, designated for the two or more evaporation units in the second set. The resultant perovskite film includes multiple unit layers, wherein each unit layer is formed by one rotation of the substrate stage, and the composition and thickness of the unit layer are controlled by adjusting at least the evaporation rates, the rotation speed and the horizontal cross-sectional areas.
Photoelectric conversion device and manufacturing method thereof
A photoelectric conversion device in an embodiment includes a first photoelectric conversion part including a first transparent electrode, a first photoelectric conversion layer, and a first counter electrode and a second photoelectric conversion part including a second transparent electrode, a second photoelectric conversion layer, and a second counter electrode, the first photoelectric conversion part and the second photoelectric conversion part being provided on a transparent substrate. The first counter electrode and the second transparent electrode are electrically connected by a connection part. As for the first photoelectric conversion layer and the second photoelectric conversion layer, adjacent portions of the adjacent first and second photoelectric conversion layers are electrically separated by an inactive region having electrical resistance higher than that of the first and second photoelectric conversion layers.
NOZZLE-DROPLET COMBINATION TECHNIQUES TO DEPOSIT FLUIDS IN SUBSTRATE LOCATIONS WITHIN PRECISE TOLERANCES
An ink printing process employs per-nozzle droplet volume measurement and processing software that plans droplet combinations to reach specific aggregate ink fills per target region, guaranteeing compliance with minimum and maximum ink fills set by specification. In various embodiments, different droplet combinations are produced through different print head/substrate scan offsets, offsets between print heads, the use of different nozzle drive waveforms, and/or other techniques. Optionally, patterns of fill variation can be introduced so as to mitigate observable line effects in a finished display device. The disclosed techniques have many other possible applications.

PRINTED METAL GASKET
Techniques and devices are provided for attaching a die to a metal manifold. A metal-containing ink is used to deposit a metal trace on the die and thereby to form a gasket, after which the die is compressed against the manifold to form a sealed connection between the two.
TECHNIQUES FOR THERMAL TREATMENT OF ELECTRONIC DEVICES
Apparatus and techniques are described herein for use in manufacturing electronic devices. such as can include organic light emitting diode (OLED) devices. Such apparatus and techniques can include using one or more modules having a controlled environment. For example, a substrate can be received from a printing system located in a first processing environment, and the substrate can be provided a second processing environment, such as to an enclosed thermal treatment module comprising a controlled second processing environment. The second processing environment can include a purified gas environment having a different composition than the first processing environment.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING ORGANIC PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERSION ELEMENT
The present invention enables on-demand production of an organic photoelectric conversion element regardless of the timing of material synthesis. Provided is a method for producing an organic photoelectric conversion element that comprises a pair of electrodes including an anode and a cathode, and an active layer that is provided between the pair of electrodes and includes a π-conjugated polymer, said method including a storing step of storing the π-conjugated polymer in an enclosure container which has an atmosphere therein that suppresses increase in the electron spin concentration of the π-conjugated polymer, and a step of forming the active layer using the π-conjugated polymer after storage.
PEROVSKITE LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE
A perovskite light emitting diode having degradation of the characteristics of the light emitting device, caused by PEDOT:PSS can be improved by replacing PEDOT:PSS contained in a conventional hole transport layer with an anionic conjugated polymer having ammonium-based counter ions, and the light emission characteristics can be greatly improved by passivating defects of a perovskite light emitting layer with a hole transport layer containing a conjugated polymer and increasing crystal growth.
