The lifting part may include: a fixing unit fixed to the other end of the display panel a movable unit configured to move in the upward or downward direction, a motor connected to the movable unit and configured to move the movable unit in the upward or downward direction, and a panel connection block fixed to the movable unit and configured such that the one end of the display panel is fixed to the panel connection block.

A display apparatus can include a display panel constructed so that at least a portion thereof is deformable, an apron structure supporting the display panel, and a printed circuit board electrically connected to the display panel. At least a portion of the apron structure is bendable. The apron structure includes a gap-maintaining unit disposed at the bendable portion of the apron structure.

A display device includes a display panel that displays an image and a roller connected to an end of the display panel. The roller includes a rolling member having a single body, the rolling member including a cut-off groove formed on at least a portion of an outer circumferential surface of the rolling member, and at least one support member disposed in an internal empty space of the rolling member.

A display device includes a substrate including a display area, a first component area including a first pixel group and a first transmission area, and a second component area including a second pixel group and a second transmission area, main sub-pixels disposed in the display area, and auxiliary sub-pixels disposed in the first pixel group, wherein a first distance between adjacent ones of the auxiliary sub-pixels is different from a second distance between adjacent ones of the main sub-pixels.

Increasing transparency of one or more micro-displays. A method includes attaching a transparent cover to at least a portion of a semiconductor wafer. The at least a portion of the semiconductor wafer includes the one or more micro-displays. The one or more micro-displays include one or more active silicon areas. The method further includes, after the transparent cover has been attached to the at least a portion of the semiconductor wafer, removing silicon between one or more of the active silicon areas.

A flexible display panel and a display apparatus including the flexible display panel are disclosed. The flexible display panel includes an encapsulated panel, a first protective film on one side of the encapsulated panel, and a second protective film on another side of the encapsulated panel. The encapsulated panel includes a flexible panel and a flexible encapsulation member on the flexible panel. The flexible panel includes a first region on a first plane and that includes a display region, and a second region on a second plane that is bent with respect to the first plane and that includes a non-display region. The flexible encapsulation member encapsulates the display region. The display apparatus also includes a support unit for maintaining a shape of the flexible panel.
