A benzofuropyrimidine derivative or a benzothienopyrimidine derivative that is a novel organic compound is provided. The organic compound has a benzofuropyrimidine skeleton or a benzothienopyrimidine skeleton and is represented by General Formula (G1) below. In General Formula (G1), Q represents oxygen or sulfur. Each of A.sup.1 and A.sup.2 independently represents a substituted or unsubstituted polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon. Furthermore, m represents any one of integers from 0 to 4. Furthermore, n represents any one of integers from 1 to 4. Each of R.sup.1 to R.sup.12 independently represents any one of hydrogen, an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group having 3 to 7 carbon atoms, and a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 13 carbon atoms.

ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT MATERIALS AND DEVICES

Organic electroluminescent materials and devices

is disclosed. The compound is useful as emitter dopant in OLEDs.

Compound, OLED display panel and electronic device

The present disclosure describes an electroluminescent material which is formed of a compound having a structure of Formula (I), an OLED display panel utilizing the compound and an electronic device having the OLED display panel. The OLED display panel includes a first electrode, a second electrode, and an organic thin film layer disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The organic thin film layer comprises an electron transport layer which comprises any one or a combination of at least two of the compounds. The electroluminescent material has a triplet energy level E.sub.T of ≥2.7 eV, a HOMO energy level of ≤−5.85 eV, and a glass transition temperature of >120° C. This compound improves luminous efficiency in the OLED display panel and the electronic device.
