Disclosed herein is a head protector. The head protector includes: a pair of fastening straps (100) configured to be attached to the outer surface of one side of headgear (10); and a protective panel (200) configured such that it is seated to cover the outer surface of the one side of the headgear (10) and such that a central part thereof is spaced apart from the outer surface of the headgear (10), and provided with a pair of fastening holes (202) through which the pair of fastening straps (100) pass. The pair of fastening straps (100) pass through the pair of fastening holes (202) and are fastened to each other so that the protective panel (200) is fastened to the outer surface of the one side of the headgear (10).

METHOD OF PROVIDING DECORATIVE DESIGNS AND STRUCTURAL FEATURES ON AN ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR

The invention relates to footwear and portions thereof having structural features and decorative designs thereon, and related systems and methods for manufacturing same. An exemplary method for providing a feature on a surface of an object includes positioning a laser proximate the surface of the object, directing a laser beam from the laser to the surface of the object to mark or engrave at least a portion of the surface of the object, and moving at least one of the laser and the object to create a pattern on the surface of the object, the pattern providing at least one of an aesthetic and a structural feature on the surface of the object.

Light-emitting systems for headgear

A light-emitting system is provided which is removably attachable to headgear for personal illumination to enhance visibility of the user to others. The light-emitting system includes a housing that defines a receiving aperture and is configured to surround a portion of the headgear when the light-emitting system is removably attached to the headgear for use. The light-emitting system further includes at least one lens and a plurality of lighting elements coupled to the annular housing which are configured to selectively generate a halo or at least a partial halo of light that radiates outwardly away from the annular housing through the at least one lens to provide enhanced personal illumination.

Protective sports helmet

A protective sports helmet that includes an energy attenuating faceguard connection system, which includes at least one connector that secures the faceguard to the helmet shell without a connection point in the shell's brow region. The lack of a brow region connection point results in a gap or clearance between the faceguard and the shell that has a functional interplay with the connector upon an impact to the faceguard. In general terms, when a substantially on-center impact to the faceguard occurs, the faceguard is displaced towards the shell and the connector bracket flexes outward relative to the helmet shell to help dissipate impact energy.

Device packaging for an impact detection device

An impact detection device for detecting impacts to a body part of a user and various supporting systems are discussed. In an example, an impact detect device can include a circuit board, a component having a first section and a second section, a battery, and a molding for housing the circuit boat, the battery and the component. The circuit board can include impact detection circuitry including at least two sensors and a communication circuit. A zone of reduced rigidity can connect the first and second sections of the component, with the circuit board secured to the first section. The battery can be secured to the second section of the component allowing for flex relative to the circuit board. The molding can be shaped and dimensioned for mounting to a body part of the user.

Intelligent fitness system and control method thereof

The present disclosure provides an intelligent fitness system and a control method thereof. The intelligent fitness system includes a fitting device, a plurality of physical buttons arranged on a handle of the fitting device at positions corresponding to fingers of a user respectively, a controller electrically connected to the physical buttons, and a display device electrically connected to the controller. Each physical button is configured to collect an operation instruction from the user and transmit the operation instruction to the controller. The controller is configured to transmit the operation instruction to the display device. The display device is configured to display a corresponding image in accordance with the operation instruction.

Apparatus for dispersing impact forces

A system for proactively adjusting to impact forces has first and second walls spaced apart from one another to define a stationary enclosed cavity therebetween; a movable member inside the enclosed cavity; an actuator; a proximity sensor; computer memory; a processor in data communication with the actuator, the proximity sensor, and the computer memory; programming causing the processor to determine a potential impact location on at least one of the first and second walls using data obtained from the proximity sensor; and programming causing the processor to activate the actuator based on the potential impact location, activation of the actuator causing the movable member to move inside the enclosed cavity prior to receiving the impact forces.

Bike helmet with improved vent cover
10561194 · 2020-02-18 ·

A helmet that includes vents in the shell and removable plugs that may be positioned in the vents to provide an airtight seal while maintaining the aerodynamic shape of the helmet. The vent has an outer vent opening in the outer wall surface of the shell and an inner vent opening in the inner wall surface of the shell. The plug includes a resilient lower surface and an upper surface opposite the resilient lower surface. The resilient lower surface has a lower peripheral lip that compresses when the plug is pushed through the outer vent opening and the inner vent opening and that subsequently expands after the lower peripheral lip passes through the inner vent opening so that the lower peripheral lip engages a portion of the inner wall surface of the shell. The upper surface has an upper peripheral lip configured to conform to a portion of the outer wall surface of the shell when the plug is inserted in the vent.

Protective Headgear System

A protective headgear system includes protective headgear worn upon a head of a first user, a sensor physically coupled to the protective headgear, an audio device and a controller. The sensor measures an angular position of the protective headgear and detects an impact involving the protective headgear. The audio device selectively emits a sound based on the angular position of the protective headgear. The controller generates impact information by analyzing the impact and determining a susceptibility of the first user to a concussion.

Protective headgear and shoulder pad apparatus and methods
