OVERHANG ROTATABLE MULTI-SENSORY DEVICE AND A VIRTUAL REALITY MULTI-SENSORY SYSTEM COMPRISING THE SAME
A virtual reality multi-sensory system includes an overhang rotatable multi-sensory device and a head-mounted multi-sensory device. The overhang rotatable multi-sensory device includes a fixed base, a control unit, a rotatable base, a driving device and a multi-sensory module having at least one selecting from the group consisting of a wind module, a hot air module, a heat module, and a liquid mist module. The head-mounted multi-sensory device includes a helmet, a display screen, earphones, a positioning module and an air flow guiding module. The present invention truly simulates image, sound effect, air flow, humidity, temperature, and smell of a specific environment, to stimulate the senses of sight, hearing, smell, and touch etc. of the user, thereby allowing the user to have an immersive experience in the simulated environment and avoiding increasing physical burden on the user's body.
SYSTEM FOR MONITORING A PHYSIOLOGICAL PARAMETER OF PLAYERS ENGAGED IN A SPORTING ACTIVITY
The present invention provides a system for monitoring a physiological parameter of players engaged in a sporting activity. The system includes a plurality of reporting units, a controller, and a signaling device. The reporting unit has an arrangement of sensing devices that measure the physiological parameter of an individual player and generate parameter data. The controller receives the parameter data transmitted from each reporting unit and then processes the parameter data to calculate a parameter result. When the parameter result exceeds a predetermined value, the controller communicates with a signaling device that provides an alert to sideline personnel to monitor the player(s) in question. The system also includes a remote storage device for holding historical data collected by the system which permits subsequent analysis. The system can monitor a number of player physiological parameters, including the acceleration of a player's body part that experiences an impact and the temperature of each player.
APPARATUS FOR DISPERSING IMPACT FORCES
A force transfer system includes a body and an article. The article includes a first portion forming a first lateral axis and a second portion forming a second lateral axis, the axes being offset. An intermediate member is disposed between the first portion and the second portion, and holds the second portion to the first portion. A stimulus received by the first portion causes a temporary alteration of the intermediate member from an initial condition, the alteration of the intermediate member thereby causing a change in a characteristic of the second portion. The intermediate member subsequently returns to the initial condition, thereby causing a change in a characteristic of the first portion, which is influenced by the change in the characteristic of the second portion. The change in the characteristic of the first and second portions prevents at least a portion of the stimulus from reaching the body.
Medical garment including a shield
A medical garment for use with a helmet, wherein the garment comprises a shell and a transparent face shield configured to define a barrier between the wearer and the environment. The transparent face shield may comprise a tab configured to be at least partially disposed within an alignment channel of the helmet when the medical garment is attached to the helmet to orient the shell relative to the helmet. The tab may also be separate from the transparent face shield and disposed on the shell of the medical garment. The transparent face shield may also comprise an attachment element configured to removably couple with a coupling member of the helmet, wherein the attachment element and coupling member comprise complementary coupling surfaces.
HEAD AND NECK RESTRAINT DEVICE WITH DYNAMIC ARTICULATION
A head and neck restraint device for high performance race car drivers. The device includes a yoke, a collar and a pair of legs. The yoke and/or collar are adapted to pivotably articulate with respect to the legs. At least a portion of each leg can flex in response to force.
Head and Neck Support
Example implementations relate to providing head and neck support. An example system includes a helmet, a load bearing harness, and a flexible extension coupled between the helmet and the load bearing harness. An activation of a magnetic field proximate the flexible extension causes a ferromagnetic infused medium to transition from a fluid state to a substantially rigid state causing the flexible extension to transition from a flexible state to a rigid state. When the flexible extension is in the rigid state, force applied to the helmet transfers through the flexible extension to the load bearing harness. The system further includes a sensor configured to detect an event. Particularly, the sensor causes the activation of the magnetic field proximate the flexible extension in response to detecting the event.
Storage system
A particular embodiment of a storage system includes at least one storage device. The storage device can store working clothing. The storage system further includes a wired and/or wireless charging device. The wired and/or wireless charging device can transmit electrical energy to an energy storage unit of the work clothing. The wired and/or wireless charging device can charge different work-clothing items of the work clothing. The work clothing can be disposed in the storage device. The storage system further includes a sensor device that can sense a characteristic variable of the work clothing.
Helmet with impact tracking
A helmet for tracking impact including at least one sensor, a processor in communication with the sensor and a storage file in communication with the processor, the at least one sensor measures a force applied to the helmet and sends a signal to the processor indicative of the measured force. The processor receives the signal indicative of the measured force and compares the measured force to a predetermined value, wherein if the measured force exceeds the predetermined value data is sent to the storage file to record the measured force. The helmet can include an alarm system and/or an Injury tracking system.
Helmet
A helmet has a helmet shell and a visor pivotally connected to the helmet shell. The helmet further has an electrical device attached to the visor. First and second helmet electrical contacts are attached at both sides of the helmet and are adapted for electrically connecting to an electrical power source. First and second visor electrical contacts are attached to each side of the visor and are electrically connected to the electrical device. The first and second visor electrical contacts are pivotally connected to the helmet shell about first and second pivot axes passing through the first and second helmet electrical contacts respectively. The first and second visor electrical contacts are in contact with the first and second helmet electrical contacts respectively, at all positions of the pivoting visor.
HEAD-MOUNTED LIGHTING DEVICE
Provided is a lighting device including: a support portion disposed in front of a forehead of a head of a wearer; a light source unit provided to the support portion, the light source unit including a light source which irradiates an object with light, and a condensing lens which condenses the light emitted from the light source; and a transmission member configured to transmit reflected light from the object so as to allow the wearer to visually recognize the reflected light, the transmission member being provided to the support portion and disposed in front of an eye of the wearer, wherein the light source unit includes a first polarizing element which converts emitted light emitted from the light source to linearly polarized light, and the transmission member includes a second polarizing element which is disposed 90 orthogonal to a polarization axis of the first polarizing element.
