The present invention relates to a novel hands-free video/still image camera rig/mount to capture still images or video recording of the user (rig operator).

Helmet for attenuating impact event

An impact attenuation helmet construction having a rigid outer shell, a rigid inner shell adapted to being worn upon a wearer's head and arranged a spatially separated distance from the outer shell. A plurality of resilient plasticized members, each having circular cross sectional profiles, are provided and extend between the inner and outer shells in a three dimensional array in order to spatially support said outer shell a distance from an outer surface of said inner shell. The resilient members include any of disk or sphere shaped components, each having outer and inner flattened mounting locations securing to opposing locations of the inner and outer shells.

Protective helmet

A protective helmet is disclosed comprising a protective shell, a visor, two rearward-mounted imagers, a display, and a processing system. The protective shell has an opening in front that is selectively covered by the visor and is configured to fit about the head of a user. The two imagers are mounted in substantially fixed positions on the rear of the protective shell so as to collectively provide a view of greater than 180 degrees about the rear of the protective shell. The processing system is operably associated with the two imagers and the at least one display, which displays real-time video from at least the left-most of the two imagers, as well as real-time video from the right-most imager or navigation, positioning, audio entertainment, or telephone call information. The helmet may further include a multi-level proximity alert system, an impact emergency alert system, and rechargeable power system.

Luminous helmet and manufacturing method thereof

The present disclosure is for a luminous helmet, comprising an outer shell configured to fit over a human head, an inner shell, a light-emitting band arranged along an elongated slit opening on the outer shell, and a light transmitting groove enclosing the light emitting band. In the manufacturing process, the outer shell was formed first, with a slit cut to match the light transmitting groove. The light-transmitting groove, comprising fixing grooves, engage fixing strips extending from edges of the outer shell along the slit opening. This structure then serves as a base to house the light-emitting band, and to receive pressure injection of the inner shell material.

Helmet accessory attachment system

A helmet accessory attachment member includes a finger-actuatable lock configured to secure an accessory attachment member mount to a helmet mount as part of securing an accessory such as a mandible guard to a helmet. The lock includes a pivot arm with a rotation axis that is parallel to the helmet surface, and also includes one or more blocking surfaces on the pivot arm to engage with grooves on the helmet mount. The lock may be positioned on a slidable insert of the accessory attachment member.

The present invention is directed to a helmet wearing determination system including a imaging means that is installed in a predetermined position and images a two-wheel vehicle that travels on a road; and a helmet wearing determination means that processes an image imaged by the imaging means, estimates a rider head region corresponding to a head of a person who rides on the two-wheel vehicle that travels on the road, compares image characteristics of the rider head region with image characteristics according to the head at a time when a helmet is worn or/and at a time when a helmet is not worn, and determines whether or not the rider wears the helmet.

Surgical Apparel System
20190231005 · 2019-08-01 · ·

A surgical garment configured for attachment to a surgical helmet, wherein the surgical garment defines a barrier between the wearer and the environment. The surgical helmet includes a peripheral device, a chin bar, and a coupling member. The coupling member may be recessed within the chin bar. The surgical garment may comprise an attachment element configured to removably couple with the coupling member of the surgical helmet. The coupling member and attachment member may comprise reciprocal features, such as a protrusion and a recess. The protrusion and/or corresponding recess may comprise a curved or similarly shaped surface configured to resist decoupling of the attachment member and the coupling member when a force is applied to the surgical garment.
