Method for Attaching Electroluminescent Wire to Solid Surface and Apparatus
A method and apparatus to attach an Electroluminescent wire and power inverter to a helmet is disclosed. Dabs of hot glue are injected at various locations to form a pattern on a helmet top surface. Segments of heat shrink tubing are inserted into the injected hot glue on the surface to permit the heat shrink tubing segments to shrink and adhere to the helmet. Electroluminescent wire is inserted into the partially shrunk segments of heat shrink tubing. A power inverter is attached to the helmet and connected to the electroluminescent wire to create a light pattern.
Headgear accessory attachment apparatus
A headgear accessory attachment apparatus includes a band having an adjustable size for fitting about a circumference of various outdoor sports helmets such as bicycle, skateboarding, snow sport, mountaineering, equestrian helmets, military helmets, and hard hats used in material moving, dock loading, and airport baggage handling. The accessory attachment apparatus provides the wearer an easy means to attach headgear accessories such as headlamps, helmet cameras, rear lights, goggles, visors, brims, and decorative embellishments to the helmet. The accessories may be permanently or temporarily secured to the accessory apparatus. In one headgear accessory attachment apparatus, the band includes a stop surface that opposes a bottom surface of the headgear when the apparatus is affixed to the headgear such that the apparatus is prevented from becoming dislodged during use.

Advanced warning lighting systems and methods
An advanced warning light system of the present disclosure has a controller area network (CAN) bus for transmitting messages and at least one controller that monitors operations of a motorcycle, the at least one controller further transmits a message on the CAN bus when a monitored operation occurs on the motorcycle, the message having data indicating that the vehicle is slowing down. The system further has a processor that receives the message from the CAN bus indicating that the vehicle is slowing down, the processor further illuminates an advanced warning light on a back of a helmet being worn by a rider to indicate to a driver following the motorcycle that the motorcycle is slowing down.
WIRELESS MONITORING OF SAFETY HELMETS
Remote monitoring of a subject wearing a sports helmet is enabled. In one aspect, an example system includes a safety helmet and a sensor integrated with the helmet for continuously gathering head acceleration force data, the head acceleration force data associated with the head movements of a subject. The system can also include a wireless transceiver coupled to the sensor for transmitting the head acceleration force data and a mobile device for receiving the head acceleration force data from the wireless transceiver. The system can further include a database engine for displaying the head acceleration force data to a user.
HEADSET AND COMPONENTS THEREOF FOR FLUID DELIVERY SYSTEM
A headset for a hydration system is disclosed. The headset includes a fluid conduit adapted to connect to a distal end of a hydration system supply tube, and a magnetic quick connect having an upstream and a downstream coupling member with a common mating axis and which together define a portion of the fluid conduit. The upstream member also includes an off-axis arm that may be rotated about the mating axis without decoupling the coupling members. A headgear mount for use in the disclosed headset is also provided.

COLLAPSIBLE AERODYNAMIC HELMET
A collapsible aerodynamic helmet for a rider of a bicycle or vehicle is provided. The collapsible aerodynamic helmet includes a body member wearable by the rider. The collapsible aerodynamic helmet also includes a tail support member outwardly extending laterally towards the back of the body member. The tail support member incudes a cut-out side portion on each side of the body member that extends in a specified shape to accommodate the shoulders of the rider. The tail support member also includes a back support member coupled to the cut-out side portion to complement the shape of the rider's shoulders and back. The collapsible aerodynamic helmet further includes a securing means for compactly securing the tail member for coupling with conventional helmets.
HELMET SHROUD ASSEMBLY
The shroud assembly is configured for attachment to the front of a helmet, or other headgear. The shroud assembly includes an interface for the removable attachment of an accessory mount used to couple an electronic or optoelectronic imaging device to the headgear. An example shroud assembly comprises a polymer frame having a shape that matches a contour of the headgear and an insert formed of a metal or metal alloy. The polymer frame is molded around the insert. The polymer frame and the insert together form an interface for the removable attachment of an accessory mount. The interface includes an upper recess configured to act as a bearing surface for an engaging latch member of the accessory mount, and a lower recess configured to act as a bearing surface for another engaging latch member of the accessory mount.
LIGHT-EMITTING SYSTEMS FOR HEADGEAR
A light-emitting system is provided which is removably attachable to headgear for personal illumination to enhance visibility of the user to others. The light-emitting system includes a housing that defines a receiving aperture and is configured to surround a portion of the headgear when the light-emitting system is removably attached to the headgear for use. The light-emitting system further includes at least one lens and a plurality of lighting elements coupled to the annular housing which are configured to selectively generate a halo or at least a partial halo of light that radiates outwardly away from the annular housing through the at least one lens to provide enhanced personal illumination.
