FASTENING DEVICE, COMBINATION OF FASTENING DEVICE, FUNCTIONAL UNIT AND RECEIVING UNIT, AND COMBINATION OF A HEAD-PROTECTIVE GEAR WITH SUCH A FASTENING DEVICE

A fastening device for releasably fastening a functional unit in a connection direction to a receiving unit. The fastening device comprises a functional unit comprising a functional unit abutment surface and a receiving unit comprising a receiving unit abutment surface. The functional unit abutment surface and the receiving unit abutment surface are configured to abut against each other in a connected state. The fastening device comprises at least one pair of magnets comprising at least one functional unit magnet allocated at or within a proximity to the functional unit abutment surface and at least one receiving unit magnet allocated at or within the proximity to the receiving unit abutment surface. The at least one functional unit magnet and the at least one receiving unit magnet exert an attractive force to each other.

AUGMENTED REALITY SYSTEM FOR PILOT AND PASSENGERS

The present invention achieves technical advantages as an aircraft having an augmented reality flight control system integrated with and operable from the pilot seat and an associated pilot headgear unit, wherein the flight control system is supplemented by flight-assisting artificial intelligence and geo-location systems. The present invention includes an augmented reality flight control system incorporating real-world objects with virtual elements to provide relevant data to a pilot during aircraft flight. A translucent substrate is disposed in the pilot's field of view such that the pilot can see therethrough, and observe virtual elements displayed on the substrate. The system includes a headgear that is worn by the pilot. A flight assistance module is configured to receive data related to the aircraft and provide predictive assistance to the pilot during flight based on the received data based in part on a pilot profile having preferences related to the pilot.

HELMET AND CHEEK PAD

A helmet includes a helmet body and right and left cheek pads arranged inside the helmet body. The cheek pads each include a first bottom portion including a first outer surface located downward from a lower edge of the helmet body and a second bottom portion including a second outer surface located rearward from the first bottom portion. The first outer surface and the second outer surface form a wearing opening of the helmet and are negative pressure generating surfaces configured to generate a downforce acting on the helmet by having the first outer surface located downward from the second outer surface. The first bottom portion and the second bottom portion are resilient so as to enlarge the wearing opening when receiving force for enlarging the wearing opening and reduce the wearing opening in size when the force is removed.

A system senses, analyzes, and reports a collision event experienced by a person or object. A sensor module records angular velocities over time and a processor analyzes the sensed velocities, calculates properties of angular velocities, such as jerk and jolt, compares these properties with threshold values selected to correlate to predicted severities of injury to the person or object, and transmits information regarding these properties to a communication device controlled by user-designated persons. Group tracking and communication devices ar used by monitors to manage multiple persons equipped with sensor modules. The sensor modules and group tracking and communication devices are designed to be portable, attachable, and detachable so that they can be attached to different types of gear used by persons engaging in different activities.
