Helmet system and protective wearable system
A protective wearable system comprises a helmet for providing protection and enhancing safety to a rider on a vehicle. In one embodiment, the helmet comprises a LED display configured to produce visual information to vehicles and pedestrians surrounding the rider. The helmet further comprises a control module and a communication module configured to establish a point-to-multipoint communication group such that the rider can transmit or receive real-time and/or just-in-time information to other members of a riding group. The protective wearable system further comprises one or more illuminated wearables and accessories configured to produce light signals for clearly depicting silhouette of the rider and synchronized to the helmet for making the rider more visible and identifiable to nearby motorists.
Flashlight with rear-facing signal light and modular integrated mount system
Flashlight having modular mount system with integral mount element on the flashlight body and/or having programmable rear-facing signal lights.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR HEAD AND SPINE IMMOBILIZATION AND PROTECTION
The present invention relates to a device that stabilizes or protects the head or spine from injuries. An immobilization device includes one or more pillars with multiple segments that protect the head or spine of a user. The pillars typically run along the part of the head and spine and pelvis that the device protects. A cable or wire runs through these segments in the pillars. By design, when the pillars of the invented system are not activated and the system is in normal use, the pillars are designed to be as flexible as possible and allow full physiologic motion of the protected body part. Activation of the system confers rigidity to the system and prevents or lessens harmful, non-physiologic motion of the body part intended to be protected. The present invention can further include a caudal extension used to connect to vehicle.
Protective helmets having energy absorbing tethers
In one embodiment, a tether system for use with a protective helmet worn by a user includes multiple tethers, each tether having a first end adapted to attach to a shell of the protective helmet and a second end adapted to attach to an article worn by the user, wherein the tethers limit movement of the helmet.
Wearable equipment for substation maintenance mobile inspection and application method thereof
A wearable equipment is adapted for substation maintenance mobile inspection and includes a binding strap and a controlling wireless communication module. A thermal imager is disposed on one side of the binding strap. A prism display component and a voice interaction module are disposed on the other side of the binding strap. The thermal imager, the prism display component, and a microphone and a speaker of the voice interaction module are connected to the controlling wireless communication module through cables, to transmit information in a power system intranet. An application method includes mounting the wearable equipment to an electric power helmet, and automatically sending an infrared image, a visible light image, power monitoring information, voice, and a video in a power operation area to a background management controlling system for the substation maintenance mobile inspection.

Impact protection apparatus
An impact protection apparatus (IPA) may include an impact switch configured to transition from an open-circuit state to a close-circuit state when a force is exerted on the IPA in a first direction and exceeds a force threshold. The IPA may further include a protective headgear and linear and rotational locks that can limit movement of the protective headgear upon a threshold level of pressure or impact.
TRUNCATED HELMET
A helmet with an outer shell, an inner liner, a plurality of vents, and an occipital cliff is disclosed. The outer shell includes an outer surface made up of a first and second surface, the first and second surfaces joined by a drop-off running across the outer surface from a left side of the helmet to a right side of the helmet. A majority of the drop-off is closer to a coronal plane bisecting the helmet than it is to the rear of the helmet. The drop-off is contained within a posterior section of the helmet defined by the coronal plane. The first surface defines a top of the drop-off and the second surface defines a bottom of the drop-off, such that the drop-off has a height. The occipital cliff is located at the rear end of the helmet and is approximately perpendicular to the second surface proximate the drop-off.
Lighted headgear and accessories therefor
There is provided lighted headgear having various configurations, components thereof, and other accessories combined therewith.
Zero impact head gear
In one embodiment, a zero impact head gear is provided including an outer helmet and an inner helmet. The outer helmet has forward and rear retaining stops protruding from the interior of the outer helmet. The inner helmet has a forward and rear retaining stops protruding from the inner helmet to allow movement of the inner helmet within the outer helmet, but capable of limiting a forward displacement the inner helmet with respect to the outer helmet.
