WIRE-EMBEDDED ZEOLITE STRUCTURES WITH BARE WIRE LEADS
A structure fabricated of a zeolite-based paste with an intra-layer continuous wire embedded is disclosed. Vitally, the continuous wire is extended past the bounds of the structure's walls, creating bare wire leads that allow for connection to a power source for electrification. The structure is made of multiple layers stacked together, typically in an additive manufacturing (3D printing) process. Within this structure, at least one layer has an embedded wire running through at least some portion of it, and is equipped with two bare wire leads protruding from the structure. This wire is designed to act as a heating element for uniform Joule heating of the zeolite structure for reduced power consumption and temperature ramp-up time during a desorption process, as well as reduced system footprint and enhanced mechanical properties. The frequency of wire embedment (a wire embedded in every n.sup.th layer), the percentage of the embedded layer that contains the wire, and the wire gauge and material/composition can be modified for the desired application.
Dielectric glass composition
A dielectric glass composition suitable for use in an electronic device which comprises a sufficient amount of silicon dioxide to impart durability to the glass composition when subject to a humid environment, and one or more alkali metal oxides, wherein (i) the total content of the alkali metal oxides is at least about 10 wt % and no more than about 35 wt %, based upon 100% total weight of the glass composition, (ii) the median particle size (d.sub.50) of the glass composition is no more than about 5 m, and (iii) the glass composition has a coefficient of thermal expansion of at least about 10 ppm/K and no more than about 25 ppm/K, is provided.
ELECTRICAL INSULATION SYSTEMS AND INSULATED COMPONENTS FOR ELECTRICAL MACHINE
An electrical insulating system and an associated insulated stator bar are provided. The electrical insulating system includes an electrically insulating mica paper and a fiber glass disposed on a first surface of the electrically insulating mica paper. The electrically insulating mica paper and the fiber glass are impregnated with a curable binder resin composition. The curable binder resin composition includes about 21 weight percent to about 73 weight percent of a solid or semi-solid epoxy resin having an epoxide functionality of about 2.5, about 0.8 weight percent to about 49 weight percent of a liquid epoxy resin having an epoxide functionality of about 2, about 4 weight percent to about 15 weight percent of a bisphenol A-formaldehyde novolac, a metal acetylacetonate catalyst, and about 2.5 weight percent to about 15 weight percent of a toughener selected from the group consisting of polyethersulfone, methylmethacrylate butadiene styrene, and a combination thereof.
METAL MATRIX COMPOSITE WIRE, POWER INDUCTOR, AND PREPARATION METHODS FOR SAME
A preparation method for a metal matrix composite wire includes the following steps: 1) preparing a metal inner core; 2) preparing a glass-resin mixture; 3) dissolving self-adhesive resin in the solvent to prepare a self-adhesive resin solution; 4) uniformly coating the glass-resin mixture on a surface of the metal inner core, then coating the self-adhesive resin solution on a surface of the glass-resin mixture, and performing drying at a temperature of 80 C. to 150 C.; and 5) repeating the step 4) until a thickness of the coating reaches 2 to 10 m. When an inductor is prepared by using the composite wire, the inductor may have relatively good weather resistance, a relatively good dielectric voltage-withstand capability, as well as relatively good high-temperature resistance and electrical performance.
DATA CABLE
A data cable includes a plurality of cores each having a conductor surrounded by core insulation, providing the cores with a plurality of prescribed telecommunications transmission parameters. The core insulation includes a plurality of flame-retardant layers having a mineral, electrically insulating and flame-resistant first material, for maintaining functional integrity in the event of fire.
