Electrical Cable And Arrangement Comprising An Electrical Cable
An electrical cable includes a plurality of electrical lines extending from a first section to a third section through a second section. Each electrical line is enveloped by an insulating sheath. The electrical lines are arranged side-by-side in the first section in a first plane and in the third section in a third plane. The insulating sheath is integrally formed as a first insulating section in the first section and as a third insulating section in the third section. The insulating sheath is divided into a first further insulating section and a second further insulating section in the second section that are separated from each other by a gap. The first further insulating section is guided from the first insulating section to the third insulating section in a first arcuate path and the second further insulating section is guided from the first insulating section to the third insulating section in a second arcuate path.
ELECTRICAL CABLE ASSEMBLY, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MAKING SAME AND ELECTRICAL TERMINAL FOR SAME
An electrical cable assembly is presented herein. The electrical cable assembly includes a multiconductor flat cable including a first and second electrically conductive wire arranged in a coplanar fashion with each other and encased within a planar dielectric structure. A slot is defined in the planar dielectric structure intermediate the first and second wires, thereby forming first wing features in the dielectric structure extending from the first wire and second wing features extending from the second wire. Exposed portions of the first and second wires extend beyond the first and second wing features. A method of forming the electrical cable assembly, an apparatus for forming the electrical cable assembly, and an electrical terminal configured for use in the electrical cable assembly is also presented.
GUARDED COAXIAL CABLE ASSEMBLY
A guarded coaxial cable assembly includes a micro-coaxial cable and a metal rail for protecting the micro-coaxial cable from harmful compression.
Shielded electrical cable
A shielded electrical cable includes conductor sets extending along a length of the cable and spaced apart from each other along a width of the cable. First and second shielding films are disposed on opposite sides of the cable and include cover portions and pinched portions arranged such that, in transverse cross section, the cover portions of the films in combination substantially surround each conductor set. An adhesive layer bonds the shielding films together in the pinched portions of the cable. A transverse bending of the cable at a cable location of no more than 180 degrees over an inner radius of at most 2 mm causes a cable impedance of the selected insulated conductor proximate the cable location to vary by no more than 2 percent from an initial cable impedance measured at the cable location in an unbent configuration.
Cable connector assembly
A cable connector assembly includes: a cable connector; a cable electrically connected with the cable connector; an outer shell enclosing at least a portion of the cable connector and enclosing a portion of the cable, the outer shell having an inner dimension greater than an outer dimension of the cable; and a filler filled between the outer shell and the cable.
Flat data transmission cable
A flat data transmission cable includes a plurality of juxtaposed wires and a plastic layer enclosing on the wires integrally, each wire has a conductor. Central axes of the conductors are located on a same plane, and the plastic layer defines a top surface and a bottom surface parallel to the plane in which the central axes of the conductors located, the wires define at least two grounding wires and at least a signal wire between the two grounding wires.
Flat data transmission cable
A flat data transmission cable includes a plurality of juxtaposed wires, a plastic layer enclosing on the wires integrally and a metallic layer formed by a metal material belt arranged on an outer side of the plastic layer in a spiral winding way. In the length direction of the data transmission cable, the data transmission cable has at least one bending portion, the data transmission cable is formed with a first section and a second section on both sides of the bending portion, and a stable bending angle is formed between the first section and the second section.
Flat data transmission cable
A flat data transmission cable includes a plurality of juxtaposed wires, a plastic layer enclosing on the wires integrally and a metallic layer formed by a metal material belt arranged on an outer side of the plastic layer in a spiral winding way, each wire has a conductor. The metallic layer has at least an aluminum foil layer and a bonding layer arranged on the side of the aluminum foil layer facing to the plastic layer, the metallic layer is bonded to the outer side of the plastic layer by the bonding layer.
CABLE ASSEMBLY
A cable assembly includes a cable, a connector that is provided at an end of the cable in a direction in which the cable extends, a plurality of electric transmission lines configured to transmit an electric signal, and a plurality of optical transmission lines configured to transmit an optical signal. The plurality of electric transmission lines and the plurality of optical transmission lines are provided in the cable assembly so as to extend across the cable and the connector. The plurality of optical transmission lines are provided so that at least one of the plurality of optical transmission lines is provided at each of ends of the cable assembly in a width direction perpendicular to the direction in which the cable extends. The plurality of electric transmission lines are provided inside the plurality of optical transmission lines in the width direction.
MULTI-CONDUCTOR FLAT CABLE FOR DOWNHOLE OPERATIONS
An apparatus includes a flat cable that comprises multiple conductors that are encased in the cable armor and positioned in a flat cable configuration such that a void area is defined between the multiple conductors. The flat cable includes a filler positioned at least partially in the void area.
