A multi-core cable includes a plurality of coaxial cables being arranged in parallel with each other, and a synthetic resin covering member that collectively covers the plurality of coaxial cables. Each coaxial cable includes a center conductor, an insulator covering an outer periphery of the center conductor, and a metal outer conductor covering an outer periphery of the insulator. The covering member holds the plurality of coaxial cables in such a manner that the plurality of coaxial cables are aligned side by side along a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the plurality of coaxial cables. At least a part of the outer conductors of the plurality of the coaxial cables respectively contacts the covering member.
Flexible Flat Cable for Improving High-frequency Transmission

The flexible flat cable includes an upper plastic film layer, an upper adhesive film layer, a plurality of wires arranged in parallel, a lower adhesive film layer, and a lower plastic film layer in turn from top to bottom. At least two adjacent wires have a dielectric space, which is capable of reducing conductor loss, thereby reducing the attenuation of the signal and improving the signal integrity.
Coaxial cable, coaxial cable producing method, and cable assembly
A coaxial cable includes a conductor, an electrically insulating member provided over a periphery of the conductor, a shielding layer composed of served shields formed by helically wrapping a plurality of metal wires around the electrically insulating member, and a sheath provided around the shielding layer. The electrically insulating member includes indentations on portions of its surface to be brought into contact with and mated to the metal wires respectively. The shielding layer includes portions in respective circumferential directions of the plurality of metal wires being brought into contact with the electrically insulating member are mated to the indentations, respectively, on the electrically insulating member, and adjacent ones of the metal wires in a circumferential direction of the shielding layer are in surface contact with each other.
High density shielded electrical cable and other shielded cables, systems, and methods
A shielded electrical ribbon cable includes adjacent first and second longitudinal conductor sets where each conductor set includes two or more insulated conductors. The first conductor set also includes a ground conductor that generally lies in the plane of the insulated conductors of the first conductor set. At least 90% of the periphery of each conductor set is encompassed by a shielding film. First and second non-conductive polymeric films are disposed on opposite sides of the cable and form cover portions substantially surrounding each conductor set, and pinched portions on each side of each conductor set. When the cable is laid flat, the distance between the center of the ground conductor of the first conductor set and the center of the nearest insulated conductor of the second conductor set is σ1, the center-to-center spacing of the insulated conductors of the second conductor set is σ2, and σ1/σ2 is greater than 0.7.
USB TRANSMISSION CABLE STRUCTURE
A USB cable structure is provided, including: a cable body and a plurality of wires; the cable body extends a length along an axial direction and forms an inner space, and the inner space form an elliptical cross-section in the radial section of the cable body perpendicular to the axial direction; the plurality of wires are arranged in the elliptical inner space of the cable body, and the diameter of the wire can be increased by the enlarged elliptical inner space to reduce the attenuation of the transmission signal, thereby able to extending the length of the transmission cable to transmit the signal to a longer distance without the assistance of the attenuation compensation chip.
HYBRID CABLING SOLUTION FOR HIGHER BANDWIDTH AND MILLIMETER WAVE APPLICATIONS
Flexible cables may include multiple power, ground, and signal traces, and include EM interference suppression devices within the cable itself. Signal traces may be shielded by ground traces. The body of a cable may be divided into lateral portions through which different types of traces extend. One lateral side of a cable body may include a stack of power traces, while another lateral side of the cable body may include ground and signal traces. EBG patterns may be incorporated into ground traces. Capacitors may be positioned within the cable along its length, mounted between power and ground traces, for decoupling.
