A flat flexible cable may include a plurality of generally parallel, co-planar flat conductive traces sandwiched between two ribbons of dielectric material and a plurality of strips of conductive material formed at intervals along a length of the flat flexible cable, each strip of conductive material electrically coupling a plurality of ground traces of the flat conductive traces to one another via portions of the ground traces exposed through the dielectric material at each of the intervals.

Shielded electrical cable

A shielded electrical cable includes conductor sets extending along a length of the cable and spaced apart from each other along a width of the cable. First and second shielding films are disposed on opposite sides of the cable and include cover portions and pinched portions arranged such that, in transverse cross section, the cover portions of the films in combination substantially surround each conductor set. An adhesive layer bonds the shielding films together in the pinched portions of the cable. A transverse bending of the cable at a cable location of no more than 180 degrees over an inner radius of at most 2 mm causes a cable impedance of the selected insulated conductor proximate the cable location to vary by no more than 2 percent from an initial cable impedance measured at the cable location in an unbent configuration.

WIRING MEMBER

A wiring member includes a sheet material and a plurality of insulating wires disposed to have a crossing part on a main surface of the sheet material. For example, an insulating covering of a lower wiring part in the crossing part is fixed to the sheet material in a position of the crossing part, and a thickness of at least one of the insulating covering of the lower wiring part and the sheet material in the position is reduced.

WIRING MEMBER

A wiring member includes a plurality of wire-like transmission members each including a transmission wire body and a coat covering the transmission wire body and a flattening member keeping the plurality of wire-like transmission members in a flat state. For example, the flattening member is considered to include a first flattening member which is a member formed separately from the plurality of wire-like transmission members.

Method and apparatus for fabricating a susceptor coil assembly ribbon

A method and system for fabricating a susceptor coil assembly ribbon. An apparatus comprising a tensioning section 100 that provides a predetermined amount of tension to a plurality of susceptor coil assemblies 20, a collimating section 200 that receives the plurality of susceptor coil assemblies 20 from the tensioning section 100 and aligns the plurality of susceptor coil assemblies 20. An impaling section 300 receives the plurality of susceptor coil assemblies 20 aligned by the collimating section 200 and impales the plurality of susceptor coil assemblies 20 into a matrix material 320 so as to fabricate a susceptor coil assembly ribbon 30.

WIRE HARNESS

A wire harness includes an electrical wire, a sheet material welded to an insulating covering of the electrical wire disposed on a main surface, and a cover fixed to the sheet material. The cover covers at least part of the electrical wire disposed on the sheet material along a longitudinal direction of the electrical wire from an opposite side of the electrical wire from the sheet material.

FLEXIBLE CABLE

In accordance with an aspect of the disclosure, a cable comprises a flexible cable portion; and an end cable portion connected to one end of the flexible cable portion, wherein the flexible cable portion comprises: a first wire comprising one or more signal transmission lines; and a second wire comprising one or more fill-cut areas corresponding to the signal transmission lines and at least one or more ground lines.

High density shielded electrical cable and other shielded cables, systems, and methods

A shielded electrical ribbon cable includes adjacent first and second longitudinal conductor sets where each conductor set includes two or more insulated conductors. The first conductor set also includes a ground conductor that generally lies in the plane of the insulated conductors of the first conductor set. At least 90% of the periphery of each conductor set is encompassed by a shielding film. First and second non-conductive polymeric films are disposed on opposite sides of the cable and form cover portions substantially surrounding each conductor set, and pinched portions on each side of each conductor set. When the cable is laid flat, the distance between the center of the ground conductor of the first conductor set and the center of the nearest insulated conductor of the second conductor set is 1, the center-to-center spacing of the insulated conductors of the second conductor set is 2, and 1/2 is greater than 0.7.
