Composite cable assembly and server having the same
A composite cable assembly includes flat cables, a cable unit and fastening units. Each flat cable includes conductor assemblies and a shielding layer covering the conductor assemblies. The cable unit includes transmission lines. The transmission lines are arranged horizontally and in contact with the shielding layer of the flat cable closest to the transmission lines. The cable unit contacts the flat cable closest to the cable unit, the cable unit and each flat cable are together bent to form bent portions and extension sections connected to the bent portions. Each two fastening units are arranged spaced apart at two sides of a corresponding bent portion. Each extension section has the same length when the cable unit and each flat cable are moved in a movement direction to extend or collapse.
Shielded electrical cable
A shielded electrical cable includes a conductor set and two generally parallel shielding films disposed around the conductor set. The conductor set includes one or more substantially parallel longitudinal insulated conductors. The shielding films include a parallel portion wherein the shielding films are substantially parallel. The parallel portion is configured to electrically isolate the conductor set.
Round cable
A round cable includes an internal cable formed by rolling a flat cable and an outer insulation jacket covering the outer side of the internal cable. The internal cable has several conductors, the internal cable includes several sector portions and a first connecting portion connecting every two adjacent sector portions, and the sector portions are stacked together one by one in a circumferential direction. The outer diameter of a round cable can be reduced, wire arrangement can be omitted before soldering, and production efficiency can be improved.
Probe assembly having cable assembly with wire pairs
Probe assembly includes an ultrasound probe and a cable assembly configured to communicatively couple the ultrasound probe to a control system and transmit signals therethrough. The cable assembly includes a cable jacket surrounding a channel of the cable assembly. The cable assembly also includes a plurality of wire pairs extending through the channel. The channel being sized and shaped to permit the wire pairs to move relative to one another within the channel when the probe assembly is moved. The wire pairs and the channel are configured to have a designated pack ratio (Area.sup.WPS/Area.sup.C). The Area.sup.WPS includes a collective cross-sectional area of the wire pairs, and the Area.sup.C is equal to a cross-sectional area of the channel.
Rolled substrate cable
A disclosed cable includes a roll of flexible substrate. The substrate has opposing first and second surfaces and the roll is structured around an axis. A plurality of electrically conductive wires are attached to the first surface of the substrate, and the roll of flexible substrate and attached plurality of wires have alternating layers of wires and substrate.
Elongated Conductors and Methods of Making and Using the Same
Elongated conductors are provided. Aspects of the elongated conductors include: an elongated structure having a proximal region and a distal region, where the elongated conductor includes two or more insulated conducting members that are in fixed relative position along at least a portion of the elongated structure and extend from the proximal region to the distal region. A pattern of insulation openings among the insulated conducting members is present at one or both of the proximal and distal regions. Aspects of the invention further include methods of making the elongated conductors, as well as devices that include the elongated conductors.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING A CABLE CORE FOR A CABLE, IN PARTICULAR FOR AN INDUCTION CABLE
A cable core for a cable, in particular, for an induction cable that includes multiple such cable cores which have a conductor that is interrupted in the longitudinal direction at specified longitudinal positions at multiple separation points, thereby forming two conductor ends. An insulating intermediate piece is provided for connecting the conductor ends, and the conductor ends are arranged on both sides of the intermediate piece. The conductor and the intermediate piece are surrounded together by a continuous insulating jacket in order to form the cable core. In a preferred concept, a respective intermediate piece is arranged between the two conductor ends by two adapter elements. In another preferred concept, a respective intermediate piece, in particular, a ceramic intermediate piece, is connected directly to two conductor ends. A cable is formed from a plurality of such cable cores.
