High speed, low noise, low inductance transmission line cable
09620262 · 2017-04-11 · ·

A transmission line cable that utilizes a plurality of substantially flat insulated conductors, each consisting of two or more solid metallic strands laid side by side in a parallel configuration within an extruded insulator. The plurality of insulated conductors are stacked into groups of two or more and may be utilized as signal conductors or shield conductors. Once the insulated conductors are stacked, the stack is twisted together, and either wrapped in a conductive insulator, placed in an extruded non-conductive insulator, or both, creating a cable that is stable, flexible, and has improved transmission characteristics, including reduced attenuation, noise and signal skew.

SHIELDED ELECTRICAL CABLE

A shielded electrical cable includes a conductor set and a shielding film. The conductor set includes one or more substantially parallel longitudinal insulated conductors. The shielding film includes a cover portion partially covering the conductor set, and parallel portions extending from both sides of the conductor set.

Cable and electronic device

A cable including two metal conductor wires, and a coating that is made of a transparent material or a translucent material, covers the two metal conductor wires in a state of being arranged in parallel at an interval, and is shaped in a manner that one of two surfaces existing along a direction substantially parallel to a direction between the two metal conductor wires is a plane and the other surface is a curved surface with a convex cross section.

RIBBON CABLE HAVING INDIVIDUALLY-INSULATED WIRES

An example of the present disclosure includes a ribbon cable. The ribbon cable includes a plurality of wires, each wire of the plurality of wires being a different wire type of a plurality of wire types relative to the wire type of at least another one of the plurality of wires. Each one of the plurality of wires includes a conductor and an outer insulating layer surrounding a perimeter of the conductor. The outer insulating layer of a first wire includes a portion located between the conductor of the first wire and the conductor of a second wire adjacent to the first wire. The ribbon cable includes an adhesive material exterior to the outer insulating layer of each wire of the plurality of wires and bonding together the plurality of wires.

Electrical cable with dielectric foam

Electrical cables and optical waveguides are disclosed as including an electrically insulative foam. The electrically insulative foam can coat at least one electrical conductor of the electrical cable. The electrically insulative foam can coat the optical fiber of the waveguide. The electrically insulative foam can also define a waveguide.

Electrical cable with electrically conductive coating

Electrical cables are disclosed can include at least one electrical conductor, an inner electrical insulator that surrounds the at least one electrical conductor, and an electrical shield disposed about the inner electrical insulator. The electrical cables can include an electrically conductive material disposed between adjacent layers of the electrical cable. In one example, an electrical coating can be disposed in the electrical shield, for instance, in regions of overlap. Flowable electrically conductive materials are also disclosed that can flow into gaps during operation of the electrical cable.
