Protective member for wire harness, and branching structure of wire harness
A protective member for a wire harness, having a branching point between a trunk harness and a branch harness, includes a protective sheet portion to be wound around an outer circumference of at least the trunk harness near the branching point; a pair of band-shaped fixing strip portions extending from the protective sheet portion and to be wound around on the trunk harness at a pair of spots. The branching point is between the pair of the spots. The protective member is formed from a resin. The fixing strip portions are smaller in thickness than the protective sheet portion.
ELECTRO-OPTICAL WIRELINE CABLES
Cables that include a conductor and an optical fiber. In some embodiments, the cable can include an optical fiber loosely disposed within an enclosure. A conductor layer can be disposed about the enclosure. An insulation layer can be disposed about the at least one conductor layer. An inner layer of armor strength members can be helically disposed about the insulation layer. An outer layer of armor strength members can be helically disposed about the inner layer of armor strength members. The armor strength members in the outer layer of armor strength members can be at an opposite helix compared to the armor strength members in the inner layer of armor strength members. An outer jacket can be disposed about the outer layer. In other embodiments, the cable can include an optical fiber in a coupled electro-optical package, where the conductor layer can be disposed about the electro-optical package.
TRANSMISSION LINE
A transmission line includes a conductor for signal transmission. The transmission line also includes a plurality of isolating individuals arranged to cover the conductor as an isolating layer of the transmission line. The isolating layer has at least one air gap.

Cable and Cable Assembly
A cable includes a pair of insulation core wires extending longitudinally parallel to each other, each of the insulation core wires has a central conductor and a core insulation layer circumferentially wrapped around the central conductor, an inner insulation layer wrapped on an outside of the core insulation layers of the insulation core wires to fix the insulation core wires, a metal shielding layer wrapped on an outside of the inner insulation layer, and an outer insulation layer wrapped on an outer circumferential surface of the metal shielding layer. The core insulation layers of the insulation core wires abut against each other on outer peripheries of first sides of the core insulation layers facing each other.

SEALED STRANDED GROUNDING WIRE ASSEMBLY
A sealed stranded wire assembly includes one or more stranded wires. The one or more stranded wires includes a solid portion formed on or attached to the length of the one or more stranded wires. The solid portion prevents liquid, dust, or other contaminants from traveling along the length of the one or more stranded wires through voids within the one or more stranded wires.
Cables having buffer elements formed with two-dimensional fillers
Cables having buffer elements formed with two-dimensional fillers are described. A cable may include at least one optical fiber, and a buffer element may be formed around the at least one optical fiber. The buffer element may be formed from a material that includes a polypropylene-containing polymeric resin, a filler added to the polymeric resin that includes a plurality of two-dimensional particles, and an amphiphilic compatabilizer. A jacket may be formed around the at least one optical fiber and the buffer element.
DIFFERENTIAL SIGNAL TRANSMISSION CABLE
A differential signal transmission cable includes an insulation layer extending in a longitudinal direction of the differential signal transmission cable, a pair of signal lines extending in the longitudinal direction and buried inside the insulation layer, an intermediate layer covering an outer circumferential surface of the insulation layer, a shield, and catalyst particles. The shield includes an electroless plating layer covering an outer circumferential surface of the intermediate layer. The catalyst particles are dispersed between the intermediate layer and the electroless plating layer.
FLAT COMBINED WIRE
A flat combined wire including at least two wires combined side by side with each other is provided. Each of the wires includes at least three cores and an electrically insulating member. Each of the cores includes multiple yarns and multiple electrically conducting wires twisted and woven with each other, and the electrically conducting wires are wrapped around the yarns.
The electrically insulating member covers the cores.
