MECHANICAL STRESS ISOLATION CONDUCTORS IN LEAD FRAMES
An electrical device includes an electrically conductive member, an overmold material disposed about a portion of the electrically conductive member and a membrane disposed between the overmold material and at least a portion of the electrically conductive member. The membrane has a compressibility greater that a compressibility of the overmold material such that at least a portion of relative thermal expansion between the electrically conductive member relative to the overmold material is absorbed by the membrane.
Insulated wire
An object of the present invention is to provide an insulated wire which includes an insulating layer with a low relative permittivity and has excellent heat resistance and excellent abrasion resistance. The insulated wire of the present invention includes a conductor (A), and an insulating layer (B) formed on the periphery of the conductor (A), the insulating layer (B) is formed from a resin composition that contains a resin (I) with a relative permittivity of 3.0 to 4.0 and a fluororesin (II).
ELECTRIC WIRE CONDUCTOR, COVERED ELECTRIC WIRE, AND WIRING HARNESS
A wiring harness comprises a first covered electric wire, and a second covered electric wire. The first covered electric wire comprises a first electric wire conductor made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy and an insulator covering the first electric wire conductor. The first electric wire conductor comprises a wire strand of a plurality of elemental wires twisted together, and has a flat portion where a cross-section of the wire strand intersecting an axial direction of the wire strand has a flat shape. The second covered electric wire comprises a second electric wire conductor made of copper or a copper alloy and an insulator covering the second electric wire conductor. The second electric wire conductor has a lower flatness and a smaller conductor cross-sectional area than the first electric wire conductor of the first covered electric wire.
Climate responsive transmission lines
An electrical power transmission line conductor having a bundle of at least one electrical conductor configured for transmission of high voltage alternating current electrical power, at least one strengthening structure bundled with the electrical conductor to provide physical support to the electrical conductor, and at least one magnetocaloric structure having magnetocaloric material. A changing magnetic field generated by transmission of high voltage alternating current electrical power via the at least one conductor causes the magnetocaloric material composition to exhibit a magnetocaloric effect to regulate the operating temperature of the electrical power transmission line conductor.
FIRE RESISTANT DATA COMMUNICATION CABLE
Data communication cables for transit applications are disclosed. The data communication cables are halogen-free and include a fire retardant tape. The cables pass the fire retardant standards of NFPA 130. Methods of making and using the cables are also disclosed.
Cable accessory with improved thermal conductivity
The invention relates to a cable accessory, said accessory being surrounded by at least one electrically insulating crosslinked layer comprising at least one polymer material, boron nitride and silicon carbide, to an electrical device comprising at least said cable accessory, to a process for manufacturing said accessory and said device, to the use of said crosslinked layer around an electric cable accessory or in an electrical device, in particular for promoting heat discharge, to a kit for connecting electric cables, and to a cable accessory, said accessory comprising two fillers of different thermal conductivities.
WIRING MEMBER
A wiring member includes a flat wiring body and a protection sheet material partially fixed to at least one main surface of the wiring body in a plurality of positions at intervals. For example, it is considered that the wiring body includes a sheet-like base material and a plurality of wire-like transmission members disposed on one main surface of the base material, and the protection sheet material is partially fixed to the other main surface of the base material.
Fluoropolymer insulated communications cable
A communications cable is provided that includes a pair of twisted pair of wires, each coated with a fluoropolymer insulator. The twisted pair of wires is configured to carry a differential signal, such as a differential data signal and/or a differential power signal. The fluoropolymers are highly effective insulators and significantly reduce both the effects of internal and external electromagnetic interference while maintaining low cable attenuation, even when operating within a temperature range of −40° C. to 150° C.
Heating cable having excellent flex resistance and flexibility
Provided is a heating cable having high flex resistance and flexibility. More particularly, the present invention relates to a heating cable having both an excellent mechanical property such as flex resistance and high flexibility which are in a trade-off relationship, and capable of facilitating control of heat to be generated.
