Traceable and theft deterrent reclaimable product
A theft deterrent product may be provided. The theft deterrent product may comprise a jacket and a core under the jacket. In addition, the theft deterrent product may include an identification tape under the jacket. The identification tape may comprise a plurality of indicia located periodically and longitudinally on the identification tape. The plurality of indicia may respectively correspond to a plurality of unique codes.
PEELABLE CABLE JACKET HAVING DESIGNED MICROSTRUCTURES AND METHODS FOR MAKING PEELABLE CABLE JACKETS HAVING DESIGNED MICROSTRUCTURES
Coated conductors comprising a conductor and a peelable polymeric coating at least partially surrounding the conductor, where the peelable polymeric coating comprises from 1 to 8 microcapillaries which comprise an elastomeric polymer having a lower flexural modulus than the polymeric matrix material of the polymeric coating. Also disclosed are methods for making such coated conductors.
Light with pre-wired electric wire loop
A lighting assembly is disclosed that is sold in a kit/package with a single, dual conductor wire that forms an electrical loop. Both free ends of a first conductor of the wire are connected to the same conductor socket and both free ends of a second conductor are connected to the other conductor socket. During installation, a contractor can simply cut with wire loop to provide a pre-wired light assembly that is ready to be daisy-chained to other light assemblies or electrical equipment.
PEELABLE CABLE JACKETS HAVING DESIGNED MICROSTRUCTURES AND METHODS FOR MAKING PEELABLE CABLE JACKETS HAVING DESIGNED MICROSTRUCTURES
Coated conductors comprising a conductor and a peelable polymeric coating at least partially surrounding the conductor, where the peelable polymeric coating comprises from 1 to 8 microcapillaries which comprise a low-viscosity filler material. Also disclosed are methods for making such coated conductors.
Exterior member and electric wire arrangement structure
An exterior member has an exterior member body having a base color, and an identification mark having an identification color different from the base color. The identification mark includes at least one of a plurality of line marks provided parallel to each other, and a line mark provided continuously and spirally.
Traceable and theft deterrent reclaimable product
A theft deterrent cable may be provided. First, a plurality of unique codes may be created. Then a plurality of indicia may be placed periodically and longitudinally on the interior of the cable that may not be viable from the exterior of the cable. The plurality of indicia may respectively correspond to the plurality of unique codes. An indicator may be placed on the exterior of the cable. In a database, the plurality of unique codes may be assigned to an organizational entity. The organizational entity may comprise a first enterprise. Next, an indication that the cable is to be transferred from the first enterprise to a second enterprise may be received. In response to the received indication, the plurality of unique codes may be assigned in the database from the organizational entity comprising the first enterprise to the organizational entity comprising a second enterprise.
CABLES HAVING COLORED JACKETS AND METHODS FOR SAME
Systems and methods to apply an on-demand color scheme to a cable are described. The systems and methods include the application of a plurality of colored coating fluids to an outer cable layer.
HIGH-CONDUCTIVITY COMPOSITE CABLE, CABLE CONNECTOR THEREFOR AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THEREOF
The invention relates to a high-conductivity composite cable, a cable connector for the cable, as well as to a method for manufacturing the cable. The cable comprises a conductive layer comprising multiple busbars extending parallel to each other in one plane and separated from each other by a dielectric material. Each busbar is made of a homogeneous conductive material. First and second insulation layers are provided on the upper and bottom surface of the conductive layer, respectively. Each insulation layer is made of a polymer self-adhesive tape. A coating layer made of a paper or fabric self-adhesive tape is provided on at least one of the insulation layers. The cable further comprises a reinforcing relief structure on the coating layer(s) and multiple apertures each providing access to one of the busbars through the coating layer(s) and the insulation layer(s). The cable may transmit signals of different forms as accurately and quickly as possible.
Cable management system and method
A cable management system includes a cable bundling system for tracking a plurality of cables included in a cable bundle. The cable bundling system includes a pair of cable bundlers, including a first cable bundler for installing a first end of a cable, and a second cable bundler for installing a second end of the cable.
INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT METHOD
An information management system includes: an obtaining unit configured to obtain cable information on installation of a cable and duct information on installation of a duct in which the cable is to be installed; and a calculation unit configured to calculate an installation condition that is recommended when installing the cable inside the duct, based on the duct information and the cable information. The cable information is stored in at least one first code attached to the cable, and the duct information is stored in at least one second code attached to the duct.
