Safety Collar for an Electrical Cable
An identification tag for an electrical cable. The identification tag may provide enhanced safety between the cable and another component, and may include a collar and a tab. The collar may include a bore for receiving a part of the cable. The bore may extend between first and second ends of the collar. The collar may also include an abutment surface for limiting the insertion of the cable end through the bore. The collar may further include an outer surface having a profile such that an outer diameter of the collar is smaller at the second end than at the first end and the outer diameter of the collar decreases gradually from the first end to the second end. The tab may be connected to and extend from the collar, wherein the tab may include identification symbols for identifying the cable.
System and method for identification and marking of electric cables in industrial cabinets
Devices for identification and marking of electrical cables and apparatuses in an industrial cabinet include a plate on which is present a bidimensional code, wherein the code presents a possible number of combinations equal to at least 10.sup.6. A system for the identification and marking of electric cable in industrial cabinets includes a set of devices; an apparatus capable of reading the bidimensional codes; and a processor capable of exchanging data with the reading apparatus, and wherein the electrical scheme of the industrial cabinet is charged. A method for identification and marking of electrical cables and apparatuses in an industrial cabinet making use of the above defined system includes installing a device a cable apparatus reading the bidimensional code using the reading apparatus; associating the bidimensional code to an alpha-numeric code defined in the electrical scheme.
Method and apparatus for applying labels to cable
An apparatus for attaching a label to a moving cable, the apparatus comprising: an attaching device for applying a label onto a moving cable and a roller for pressing the label against the moving cable, wherein the roller comprises a first roller for pressing one label against the moving cable, wherein the first roller comprises a U shape hollow portion and is mounted at an angle with the U shape hollow portion directly facing a side of the moving cable and wherein the label is formed into a U shape a first edge of the U shape longer than a second edge of the U shape; a first roll down roller for folding the second edge of the label against the moving cable and the first edge of the label; and a second roll down roller for folding the first edge of the label against the folded second edge of the label and wherein the first roll down roller is mounted to overlap the second roll down roller to overlap the label edges onto the moving cable.
Clamp mark and wire harness
A clamp mark includes a mark main body and flange parts. The mark main body, is made of resin material by molding, and covers a circumference of an electric wire entirely in a circumference direction of the electric wire at a predetermined position of the electric wire in an axial direction of the electric wire. The flange parts are respectively provided on both end portions of the mark main body in the axial direction of the electric wire so as to project outward in a radial direction of the electric wire from an outer peripheral surface of the mark main body. A cross section of the mark main body, which is perpendicular to the axial direction, is not precise circle.
WIRE HARNESS MODULE AND WIRE HARNESS MODULE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A technique for facilitating automation of fitting a wire harness to a vehicle is provided. A wire harness module includes a wire harness formed in a packed shape. Connectors each attached to an end of the wire harness are attached to specific positions on the wire harness. Fixtures for fixing the wire harness to the vehicle are attached to specific positions on the wire harness. Identification information unique to the wire harness is recorded in a tag. The identification information is used when acquiring attachment position information, which indicates the positions at which the connectors and fixtures are attached.
CLAMP MARK AND WIRE HARNESS
A clamp mark includes a mark main body, flange parts and a linear rib. The mark main body has a cylindrical shape. The mark main body is made of resin material by molding. The mark main body covers a circumference of an electric wire entirely in a circumference direction of the electric wire at a predetermined position of the electric wire in an axial direction of the electric wire. The flange parts are respectively provided on both ends of the mark main body in an axial direction of the mark main body so as to project outward in a radial direction of the mark main body from an outer peripheral surface of the mark main body. The rib is provided on and projected from the outer peripheral surface of the mark main body.
