SEMICONDUCTIVE TAPES AND METHODS FOR MAKING THE SAME
Semiconductive tapes for use with electric cables, such as high voltage power cables, and methods for manufacturing such tapes, are provided. A semiconductive tape comprises a first layer comprising a fabric and a second layer in contact with the first layer. The second layer comprises an activated carbon or carbon black. The semiconductive tapes have increased friction while still maintaining sufficient electrical conductivity for use as wrappings for electric power cables, thereby improving the manufacturing process and reducing the overall cost of production.

Noise suppression cable
A noise suppression cable includes an insulated electric wire including an insulator that covers an outer periphery of a conductor wire, and a magnetic tape layer formed by transversely winding a magnetic tape on an outer periphery of the insulated electric wire. A magnetic body constituting the magnetic tape is cut out from a rolled material in such a manner that a width direction of the magnetic tape corresponds to a rolled direction, and the magnetic body has a magnetic property that is different between the width direction and an orthogonal direction to the width direction.
Dynamic Power Cable
A method of manufacturing a dynamic power cable (1) includes providing a cable core (2) made of an electrical conductor (3) and an electrically insulating layer (4) arranged radially outside of the electrical conductor (3). A metallic sheet (7) is wrapped radially around the cable core (2) the metallic sheet (7) having a copper-nickel alloy. Opposing edges of the metallic sheet (7) are welded together to form a continuous water barrier layer (5) around the cable core (2). The welding (8) is performed by autogenous welding.
Shielded conductive path
Provided is a shielded conductive path exhibiting a shielding function over a broad frequency band between a low frequency and a high frequency even when the shielding member has a small cross-sectional area. A shielded conductive path includes conductive path main bodies, insulating layers surrounding the conductive path main bodies, and shielding members facing the outer circumferential surfaces of the insulating layers, each have a configuration in which a conductive layer and a magnetic layer are layered together. Electromagnetic noise in a frequency band between a low frequency and an intermediate frequency is blocked with the conductive layer, and electromagnetic noise in a frequency band between an intermediate frequency and a high frequency is blocked with the magnetic layer. The different frequency regions are assigned to the conductive layer and the magnetic layer, and therefore, the cross-sectional areas of the conductive layer and the magnetic layer need not be increased.

High-speed, high resolution ethernet cable
An improved Ethernet cable with an undulating and folding jacket housing external spatial channels. The undulating housing provides for multiple connection configurations from a flat cable to rectangular block configurations. The cable has a plurality of internal electronic signal channels, each channel having a pair of conductors. Each channel is also further isolated by a multi-layer protective shield, the protective shield encasing the pair of conductors. This unique design meets the new requirements of CAT8 cables, and substantially enhances video and audio streaming and transmission speeds, while eliminating deleterious effects of prior cables.

POWER CABLE
A power cable including: a conductor, an insulation system arranged around the conductor, a tape arrangement forming an interface between the conductor and the insulation system, the tape arrangement having one or several layers of which a first layer has an inner facing surface arranged to face the conductor, wherein the inner facing surface of the first layer of the tape arrangement is coated with friction enhancing material.
MC cable with tearable assembly tape
Disclosed is an armored cable assembly including a core having a notched assembly tape about a plurality of conductors. A metal sheath surrounds the core.
