Composite cable
The present disclosure relates to a composite cable, which comprises a first wire assembly and a second wire assembly, and each wire of the second wire assembly is surrounded by an insulating layer. The composite cable further comprises: a sheath made of insulating material and configured to enclose the first wire assembly and the second wire assembly; and a shield comprising different kinds of metal wires and configured to surround the first wire assembly, wherein the first wire assembly is capable of transmitting signals, and the second wire assembly is capable of transmitting power supply. The composite cable according to the present disclosure is excellent in shielding performance for different requirements.
Electrical characteristics of shielded electrical cables
A shielded electrical cable includes one or more conductor sets extending along a length of the cable and being spaced apart from each other along a width of the cable. Each conductor set has one or more conductors having a size no greater than 24 AWG and each conductor set has an insertion loss of less than about 20 dB/meter over a frequency range of 0 to 20 GHz. First and second shielding films are disposed on opposite sides of the cable, the first and second films including cover portions and pinched portions arranged such that, in transverse cross section, the cover portions of the first and second films in combination substantially surround each conductor set, and the pinched portions of the first and second films in combination form pinched portions of the cable on each side of each conductor.

Communication cables incorporating separators with longitudinally spaced radial ridges
A cable may include a plurality of twisted pairs of individually insulated conductors, a separator positioned between the twisted pairs, and a jacket formed around the twisted pairs and the separator. The separator may include a longitudinally extending spine positioned between the plurality of twisted pairs, and a plurality of projections extending from the spine with each projection extending between a set of adjacent twisted pairs. Additionally, a plurality of longitudinally spaced radial ridges may be incorporated into the separator. Each ridge may extend from a surface of one of the plurality of projections towards one of the plurality of twisted pairs in order to provide increased separation distance.
Ribbed high density electrical cable
An electrical ribbon cable includes an insulated conductor extending along a longitudinal axis of the cable. The cable also includes a shielding film that carries the insulated conductor. The shielding film has a variable thickness defining a thickened rib portion and a thinned connecting portion, these portions being electrically conductive and extending along the longitudinal axis. The insulated conductor is disposed proximate the rib portion. The insulated conductor may be one of multiple insulated conductors that are organized into multiple conductor sets including at least a first and second conductor set, each conductor set including one or more of the insulated conductors, and the rib portion may be disposed between the first and second conductor sets.
Fabricatable data transmission cable
A data transmission cable which can be fabricated includes a plurality of pairs of cores that each comprise a pair of twisted together cores, a central filler which is surrounded by the pairs of cores and bears against the pairs of cores, where the pairs of cores are aligned with one another via the central filler, and a plurality of bundles of filler threads are also arranged equidistantly in the circumferential direction around the pairs of cores, and where each bundle of filler threads is arranged to bear against two pairs of cores that are respectively adjacent to one another such that the pairs of cores are affixed to one another firstly by the central filler and secondly by the bundles of filler threads.
FOAMABLE COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR FABRICATING FOAMED ARTICLES
In one aspect, a foamable composition is disclosed, which comprises a base polymer, talc and a citrate compound blended with the base polymer. In some embodiments, the concentration of the talc in the composition is in a range of about 0.05% to about 25% by weight, e.g., in a range of about 2% to about 20%, or in a range of about 3% to about 15%, or in a range of about 5% to about 10%. Further, the concentration of the citrate compound in the composition can be, for example, in a range of about 0.05% to about 3% by weight, or in a range of about 0.02% to about 0.9% by weight, or in a range of about 0.03% to about 0.8% by weight, or in a range of about 0.04% to about 0.7% by weight, or in a range of about 0.05% to about 0.6% by weight
