SHIELDED ELECTRIC CABLE
A shielded electrical cable includes conductor sets extending along a length of the cable and spaced apart from each other along a width of the cable. First and second shielding films are disposed on opposite sides of the cable and include cover portions and pinched portions arranged such that, in transverse cross section, the cover portions of the films in combination substantially surround each conductor set. An adhesive layer bonds the shielding films together in the pinched portions of the cable. A transverse bending of the cable at a cable location of no more than 180 degrees over an inner radius of at most 2 mm causes a cable impedance of the selected insulated conductor proximate the cable location to vary by no more than 2 percent from an initial cable impedance measured at the cable location in an unbent configuration.
SENSOR CATHETER HAVING REDUCED CROSS-TALK WIRING ARRANGEMENTS
Improved wiring arrangements for sensor catheters are provided to reduce wire-to-wire cross-talk wherein wires connecting the sensor of the sensor catheter to a processing unit are divided into a plurality of wire bundles contained within respective sheaths, with the wires in wire bundle twisted together reduce electromagnetic signal interference among the individual wires, or between wire bundles.

COMPOSITE CABLE AND COMPOSITE HARNESS
A composite cable includes a first twisted-pair wire formed by twisting a pair of first electric wires, a second twisted-pair wire formed by twisting a pair of second electric wires, a pair of third electric wires arranged between the first and second twisted-pair wires in a circumferential direction, each third electric wire having a larger outer diameter than the first and second electric wires, and a tape member spirally wound around an assembled article that is formed by twisting the first twisted-pair wire, the second twisted-pair wire and the pair of third electric wires together. The two twisted-pair wires have the same twist direction, the twist direction of the two twisted-pair wires is different from a twist direction of the assembled article, and the twist direction of the assembled article is different from a winding direction of the tape member.

A TWISTED PAIR CABLE WITH A FLOATING SHIELD
A cable with a plurality of twisted pair wires arranged in a core. The cable also has a floating shield that surrounds the core. The floating shielding includes an electrically connective layer enclosed between inner and outer dielectric layers. The cable also includes a jacket that surrounds the floating shield.
COMMUNICATION CABLE
A communication cable (1) including a twisted wire pair (5) formed by twisting signal wires (2) each including an insulating layer (4) that covers a conductor (3), and an outer sheath (7) that accommodates the twisted wire pair (5). The communication cable is characterized in that the twisted wire pair (5) includes a pair of signal wires (2) and a pair of filler cords (6), and the signal wires (2) and the filler cords (6) are twisted together such that the signal wires (2) and the filler cords (6) are alternately arranged side by side.
