PROTECTIVE HELMET
The present invention relates to a protective helmet (1) comprising: an outer shell (10); an impact absorbing liner (12), positioned inside the outer shell (10), and a comfort liner (14), positioned at an inner surface of the impact absorbing liner (12), so as to be in contact with the user's head during the use of the protective helmet (1). The comfort liner (14) comprises at least one cheek pad (16) which is coupled to the impact absorbing liner (12) by means of at least one connecting element (22). Said at least one connecting element (22) is elastically deformable for moving between a first configuration, wherein it is adapted to be either inserted or released from a corresponding recess (24) provided in the impact absorbing liner (12), and a second configuration, wherein it is adapted to be clamped inside said recess (24). According to the invention, the protective helmet (1) comprises a release device (30) connected to said at least one connecting element (22). Said release device (30) when actuated is able to elastically deform said at least one connecting element (22) to move said at least one connecting element (22) from its second configuration into the first configuration, thereby allowing the release of said at least one cheek pad (16) from the impact absorbing liner (12).
HELMET AND CHIN STRAP
A helmet comprises a shell having a front portion, a rear portion, and a pair of lateral portions extending between the front portion and the rear portion. The shell is sized and configured to be placeable on the head of a user. The helmet additionally includes a chin strap having a pair of end portions and an intermediate portion located between the pair of end portions. The end portions are fixedly connected to respective ones of the pair of lateral portions of the shell so as to restrict movement of the end portions relative to the shell. The chin strap is flexible to facilitate placement of the chin strap around a chin of a user in connection with placement of the shell on the head of the user.

ILLUMINATING HEADWEAR DEVICE AND KIT
An illuminating headwear device and kit are shown and described. The illuminating headwear device and kit includes a headwear device. The headwear device is configured to removably secure about the head of an individual. The headwear devices also include a power source. The power source is coupled to at least one light. The at least one light is secured to the headwear device such that the light is pointed in a direction which will, at least partially, illuminate the individual's shoulders, torso, and back when the headwear device is worn. In one instance an on/off switch will allow for the at least one light be turned on and off. The kit further includes an illumination garment. The illumination garment will glow when the beam from the at least one light hits it.
FACE SHIELD SYSTEMS FOR SECURING REMOVABLE FACE SHIELD LENSES
An example face shield includes a face shield lens comprising a locking channel, a face shield shell configured to receive the face shield lens when the face shield is inserted into the face shield shell, and a lens lock configured to move between: a locked position in which the lens lock is configured to engage the locking channel of the face shield to secure the face shield lens to the face shield shell; and an unlocked position in which the lens lock is configured to disengage the locking channel of the face shield to permit insertion of the face shield to the face shield shell and removal of the face shield from the face shield shell.

Helmet sound management mechanism
A helmet features a sound management mechanism within a hard exterior shell and an interior of expanded polystyrene foam. Ear cups embedded within the shell surround the ears, with a torus-shaped soft material forming a seal against the wearer's head. The helmet allows the transition of ear cups between engaged and disengaged positions. The engaged position is against the head. The disengaged position is away from the head, allowing easy placement and removing of the helmet. Positions may be transitioned using one hand. The helmet may include lateral adjustment of ear cups, and some versions incorporate electronic audio features like noise cancellation, communication capabilities, and wireless connectivity.
Adjustable sport helmet
A sport helmet has an outer shell including a first shell and a second shell movable relative to the first shell; levers hingedly connected to the first shell on left and right sides of the sport helmet for adjustably securing the first and second shells together; and finger-engageable locking actuators for selectively allowing movement of the levers from the engaged position to the disengaged position, the finger-engageable locking actuators being engaged to anchoring projections receivable within anchoring apertures, the finger-engageable locking actuators movable between a locked position and an unlocked position, wherein in the locked position movements of the levers relative to the first shell are limited via the anchoring projections, and wherein in the unlocked position the anchoring projections are disengaged from the anchoring apertures such that the levers are pivotable between the engaged position and the disengaged position.
Safety helmet with interchangeable layers
A modular helmet system with a removable/detachable/interchangeable exterior shell, an inner force-absorbing layer releasably connected to the rigid exterior shell layer, and a multiple fastening devices associated with the shell which allow the shell to be interchanged/replaced/reconfigured at will. The shell as a single piece unit, or combinable components bear the fastening devices designed to enable rapid, secure interchange of the helmet system's layers, therefore allowing the helmet to be adapted for climatic, functional, and aesthetic preferences.
