DEPLOYABLE SEGMENTED SPORT EQUIPMENT
The present invention is a deployable segmented sport equipment for reducing the impact force on sport equipment worn by a user by using deployable panels. The invention has a body defining a recess, and a panel movable within the recess. The panel includes a panel magnetic element capable of being acted upon by a magnetic force. An electromagnet is provided producing an attractive or repulsive magnetic force on the panel magnetic element. A proximity sensing device capable of sensing an object at a distance from the deployable segmented sport equipment is provided with the body. An electronic controller unit receives signals from the proximity sensing device and controls operation of the controllable magnetic element so as to deploy or retract the panel from or into the recess. The panel being deployed prior to impact with the object, with the repulsive force being controlled to absorb the impact force after impact.
HELMET FIT ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM WITH RELEASABLE HAIR APERTURE
A helmet fit adjustment system having a frame, a tensioning device having an adjustment wheel, and a device receiver is disclosed. The frame comprises a frame body having a first attachment point and a second attachment point, as well as an occipital strap having a first end and a second end. The first end is coupled to the first attachment point, and the second end is movably coupled to the tensioning device. The device receiver is coupled to the second attachment point. The tensioning device is directly and releasably coupled to the device receiver, forming a hair aperture. Rotational adjustment of the adjustment wheel adjusts a functional length of the occipital strap.
Helmet with removable chin guard
The present invention relates to a protective helmet (1) comprising a chin guard (11) removable from an operating position, for protecting the chin, characterized in that the shell (21) of the helmet (1) is provided with a portion (31) for coupling with the chin guard (11) when removed.
Industrial impact protection helmet
The impact protection cap manufactured from a bendable synthetic material comprises at least one middle shell (3), connected in the forehead area of the wearer by means of flexible areas (12, 13) to lateral shells (1, 2) appended to the sides thereof, characterized in that the lateral shells (1, 2) extend at least partially over the middle shell (3) thereby building overlapping areas (22, 22) wherebetween ventilation slots (7, 8) are formed.
Adjustment mechanism for a headband arrangement of a safety helmet
An adjustment mechanism for a headband arrangement including a rotatable knob having a first contact member; a rotatable hub member to engage a notched track of a headband member; and a rotatable notched track member, wherein during contact between the first contact member and the hub member the rotatable notched track member does not rotate, and wherein during contact between a second contact member and the hub member the rotatable notched track member rotates in a second direction.
LACROSSE HELMET
A lacrosse helmet comprises rigid single-piece shell formed of a suitable material such as polycarbonate or ABS plastic and adapted to receive and protect the head of a wearer. The shell has acclivities integrally formed therein to define features in the shell. A padding system includes crown padding comprising a crown shock absorber associated with an inner crown liner, rear and side padding comprising a lateral padding assembly backed by an inflatable occipital pad, left and right jaw pads, and a front molded pad nested within the front of the helmet shell.
HEADGEAR
Headgear that can protect a head from an external impact and that can simply and minutely perform size adjustment is provided.
The headgear includes: a main body that is worn on a user's head; and an impact absorption means that is provided within the main body to absorb an impact, when an impact is applied from the outside.
SHOCK ABSORBING HELMET
A helmet can include an outer shell including a faceport, a first segment including a longitudinal ridge extending from a front of the helmet to a rear of the helmet, a gap disposed along the edge of the first segment, and a second segment comprising offset from the first segment by the gap. A hinged zone can be formed by an elastomeric material disposed within the gap and coupled to the first segment and the second segment of the outer shell. The hinged zone can elastically flex in a radial direction towards a center of the helmet. An energy absorbing liner can be coupled to an inner surface of the outer shell, and an open space can be formed between an inner surface of the hinged zone and an outer surface of the energy absorbing liner.
HELMET HAVING A CHIN BAR COLLAR
A helmet comprising an outer shell and a chin bar collar is disclosed. The outer shell comprises an interior surface and an open front portion. The chin bar collar comprises a chin guard and a collar segment forming a continuous loop. The collar segment is coupled to the interior surface of the outer shell. A majority of the collar segment is positioned within an interior space of the outer shell, and a majority of the chin guard is positioned outside the interior space of the outer shell. The outer shell may include at least two coupling points, at least one on each side of the open front portion, coupling the chin bar collar to the outer shell. The helmet may include at least one bracket coupled to the interior surface of the outer shell. The chin bar collar may be releasably coupled to the interior surface of the outer shell.
FOREHEAD SUPPORT BAND FOR HELMETS AND HELMET PROVIDED WITH SUCH FOREHEAD SUPPORT BAND
A forehead support band for work or sports protective helmets, having an elongated structure, and able to assume an arched configuration in the mounted condition on a respective helmet is provided. The structure has at least one fixing appendage, for its fixing to the helmet, interposed between two opposite ends of the structure. The band has two movable connection brackets for the engagement of the structure to the helmet and to a size-adjustment device arranged to engage a user's nape.
