An auxiliary visor system for use with or without helmet. Includes an attachment band formed of an improved stretch loop material with loop connector material on one side and silicone on the second. The second, inward facing side secures the front visor to the helmet. The stretch material provides inwardly-directed force to the exterior surface of a helmet. The silicone material is flexible and also provides frictional grip to secure the attachment band to the exterior of the helmet. A hook material fastener couples to the loop connector material on the exterior of the improved stretch loop material to close the attachment band. An optional detachable visor attaches to the outside of the attachment strap formed of the stretch loop material with hook material.

The present invention discloses a sports helmet. The helmet comprises a rigid shell defining a cavity configured to fit over a user's head, a frame pivotally connected to the shell via a linkage, a wire mesh attached to the frame and adapted to extend across the user's face. The wire mesh comprises an opening transversely extending across the user's eyes. A transparent eye shield is disposed at the opening of the mesh. The eye shield comprises holes to prevent accumulation of fog and allow airflow to provide clear vision to the user. A shock absorber is disposed at an interior side of a bottom portion of the wire mesh. The shock absorber is configured to conform onto the facial contour of the user upon impact with an object and mitigate effect of impact force. Further, concussion sensors are embedded in the helmet configured to detect impact to identify concussive injuries.

SAFETY HELMET

A protective helmet comprising a shell with an internal halo band and a sub assembly comprising of a shock absorber panel located in use intermediate the shell and the head of the wearer over reduce transfer of shock forces encountered by the shell to the head of the wearer. The sub assembly also comprises of framing, secured to the halo band and extending from the halo band to the shock absorber panel to releasably secure the shock absorber panel to the halo. The sub assembly is able to be removed from the shell for cleaning and replacement purposes.

Adjustable helmet

An adjustable helmet includes a first shell, a second shell, and a size adjustment mechanism. The first shell includes a first side portion and a second side portion. The second shell is positioned between the first side portion and the second side portion. The first side portion and the second side portion of the first shell (a) at least partially overlap the second shell and (b) are laterally flexible with respect to one another to facilitate adjusting a size of the first shell between a minimum size and a maximum size. The size adjustment mechanism includes a tensioner extending between the first side portion and the second side portion. The size adjustment mechanism facilitates ratchet-less and infinite adjustment of the size of the first shell between the minimum size and the maximum size without requiring user manipulation of the size adjustment mechanism.

FOLDABLE HELMET

The present invention relates to a helmet and protector elements for protecting a user's head. The helmet being flexible and/or foldable and comprising a head-fitting element (2), having an outer surface and an inner surface, a plurality of protector elements (3) arranged and attached at preselected positions on the outer surface of the head-fitting element to provide a helmet, which has at least a front portion (11), a middle portion (12) and a back portion (13) that are separated by a gap (4). The protector element when attached to a helmet provides an absorption of a force received during an impact to a level reducing the risk of a trauma of a user.
