The outer conductor includes a first outer conductor covering the outer periphery of the insulation and including a served shield with first element wires spirally wound, and a second outer conductor covering an outer periphery of the first outer conductor and including a braided shield with second element wires braided.

One embodiment includes a central conductor and a multi-dielectric stack of multiple concentric tubular layers disposed around the central conductor having one or more structural layers and one or more impedance tuning layers where the thickness of materials of each layer are selected to provide a pre-defined elastic modulus and electromagnetic impedance, an electromagnetic shielding layer, and a jacket enclosing the shielding layer, multi-dielectric stack layers, and central conductor.

A shielded electric wire includes an electric wire including a conductor portion and a cover portion covering the conductor portion, a shielded braid formed of a conductive linear material, the shielded braid covering an outer periphery of the cover portion and a sheath formed of an insulating resin, the sheath being provided around the shielded braid. The braided shield layer includes a braided shield braided to cross a copper tinsel wire and a metal wire. An outer diameter D1 of the copper tinsel wire is larger than an outer diameter D2 of the metal wire.
