A cable television apparatus includes a coupled-line directional coupler. The coupled-line directional coupler includes a coupled-line directional coupler body, an input side, an output side and a coupled side. The coupled-line directional coupler body receives a cable television video-audio-data signal through the input side or the output side. The coupled-line directional coupler body receives a high frequency signal through the input side. A frequency of the high frequency signal is higher than a frequency of the cable television video-audio-data signal. The coupled-line directional coupler body electromagnetically couples the high frequency signal to the coupled side. The coupled-line directional coupler includes a high pass filter function at the coupled side to filter out the cable television video-audio-data signal.

Shield connector and shielded cable with connector

A shield connector includes an inner housing that hold terminals connected to wires, and a shield shell accommodates an inner housing and an end of the shielded cable. The shield shell includes a cable inserting portion to receive the shielded cable. A convex portion projects from a side of the inner housing. The shield shell includes a base on which the inner housing is arranged, and a cover fit to the base. The base includes a bottom plate to cover a bottom of the inner housing, two base-side plates to cover side surfaces of the inner housing, and an engaging hole in the base-side plate. The convex portion of the inner housing engages the engaging hole. The cover includes an upper plate to cover a top of the inner housing, and cover-side plates rising from sides of the upper plate to overlap the base-side plates and cover the engaging hole.

A data line that is designed as a coaxial cable and has a line core that extends in a line longitudinal direction. The line core has at least one conductor surrounded at least by insulation and is surrounded by a multi-layer shielding foil, which has a non-conductive layer and a conductive layer. In an overlap region, a free end edge overlaps a further partial region, wherein additionally a conductive connection of the conductive layer at the end edge to the further partial region is formed such that a transverse current flow perpendicular to the longitudinal direction within the conductive layer is enabled. The conductive connection is formed optionally as a conductive strip and/or by a beveled end edge. In particular, the data line is a data line shielded exclusively via the shielding foil. The data line is used in particular in a motor-vehicle electrical system.
