An end portion of the conductor is exposed on the connection surface of the cable fixing unit.
Grounded cable assembly of a communication system
A cable assembly includes a grommet, a cable, and a ferrule. The grommet has a cylindrical sleeve defining a cable channel therethrough and a flange extending radially outward from the cylindrical sleeve. The cable includes one or more insulated wires, a cable shield surrounding the one or more insulated wires, and an outer jacket surrounding the cable shield. The cable extends through the cable channel of the grommet. The cable shield and the one or more insulated wires protrude from an end of the outer jacket. The cable shield has an overlap portion extending around the end of the outer jacket and surrounding and engaging the cylindrical sleeve of the grommet to electrically connect the cable shield to the grommet. The ferrule surrounds and engages the overlap portion of the cable shield to secure the overlap portion to the cylindrical sleeve of the grommet.
Wiring member
A wiring member comprises a first module having a first communication unit, second modules having respective second communication units, a cable module having cables which connect the first communication unit to the second communication units, and a branching module which is disposed at a prescribed position in the cable module. The branching module has a first cable insertion portion in which the cables are inserted in bundled form and a second cable insertion portion in which the cables are inserted separately, and the branching module is fixed to at least one of the cables in a first state and is made movable relative to the cables in a second state. One end portions of the cables are connected to the first module in bundled form and the other end portions of the cables are connected to the respective second modules separately.
CABLE
Provided is a cable including: at least two signal cables formed of first and second signal cables for differential transmission; a third cable for ground; a fourth cable for power supply; a metal sheet adapted to cover the first and second signal cables; a coating material adapted to house the first and second signal cables covered with the metal sheet, and the third and fourth cables; and a magnetic powder-mixed resin filled into an inner space of the coating material and prepared by mixing magnetic powder with a resin.
Plow collateral damage mitigating system
A plow collateral damage mitigating system for the minimization of collateral damage done by otherwise routine and/or careless usage of a plow blade is disclosed herein. In one or more embodiments, the system includes a signal transmission cable configured to be disposed around a periphery of an area that is to be plowed; one or more receivers on a snow plow device or vehicle that are configured to receive at least one signal conveyed by the signal transmission cable; at least one actuator controlling an orientation of a plow blade of the snow plow device; and a control unit configured to automatically control the orientation of the plow blade by means of adjusting the at least one actuator based upon the at least one signal of the signal transmission cable so as to avoid damaging a boundary feature and/or obstruction disposed at the periphery of the area being plowed.
SPIRAL SHIELDING ON A HIGH SPEED CABLE
A dual axial cable includes first and second signal conductors and a shield. The first and second signal conductors transmit a differential signal. The shield includes a foil wrap spirally wrapped around the first and second conductors to form a plurality of foil wrap sections. Each of the foil wrap sections overlaps an adjacent foil wrap section. The periodicity of a pitch of each of the overlaps varies along a length of the dual axial cable.
Concentric Wireline Cable
A wireline system includes a control system, a downhole tool, and a wireline cable coupling the downhole tool and the control system. The wireline cable includes a plurality of conductors, which includes a core conductor and a concentric conductor disposed around the core conductor, wherein two of the plurality of conductors form a conductor pair, and wherein each of the plurality of conductors is configured to transmit power, data, or both, between the control system and the downhole tool. The wireline cable further includes one or more insulative layers, wherein at least one insulative layer is disposed between any two conductors.
HIGH DENSITY SHIELDED ELECTRICAL CABLE AND OTHER SHIELDED CABLES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
A shielded electrical ribbon cable includes adjacent first and second longitudinal conductor sets where each conductor set includes two or more insulated conductors. The first conductor set also includes a ground conductor that generally lies in the plane of the insulated conductors of the first conductor set. At least 90% of the periphery of each conductor set is encompassed by a shielding film.
