A system for assembling and installing a wire bundle assembly group (WBAG) may include a fabrication table having first and second assembly panels, each configured to receive a WBAG, and an assembly frame having an adjustable pivot connected to the first and to the second assembly panels to hold the assembly panels in a spaced orientation relative to each other, and to pivot about an axis; and a transport tool having a WBAG receiving panel configured to receive and support an assembled WBAG from the fabrication table, and a transport frame having an adjustable support connected to the WBAG receiving panel, and the transport frame is positionable adjacent the fabrication table such that the WBAG receiving panel is located beneath the first assembly panel and the second assembly panel, whereby an assembled WBAG drops downwardly onto the WBAG receiving panel.
Electric Wire Processing Apparatus, Electric Wire Processing Method, and Electric Wire Holding Structure
An electric wire processing apparatus includes a gripping mechanism that grips a part of an electric wire, a driving mechanism that drives the gripping mechanism, an electric wire winding mechanism that winds the electric wire, and a rotating mechanism that rotates and drives the electric wire winding mechanism. The electric wire winding mechanism includes a winding drum, an electric wire clip provided on the winding drum to hold a leading end of the electric wire, and a holding member that holds an electric wire bundle. The driving mechanism moves the gripping mechanism toward the electric wire clip to hold the leading end on the electric wire clip, the rotating mechanism rotates the winding drum so that the electric wire is wound around the winding drum, and the holding member holds the electric wire bundle wound around the winding drum in the annular shape.
APPARATUS FOR MAINTAINING WIRE SHIELDING POSITIONING DURING ELECTRICAL COMPONENT PLACEMENT
Systems and methods are provided for wire processing. In certain examples, a wire processing system is disclosed. The wire processing system includes a wire shielding positioning device. The wire shielding positioning device can be configured to direct air towards a wire as the wire is inserted into the electrical component to prevent dislocation of shielding of the wire during insertion.
AUTOMATED WIRE PROCESSING SYSTEM AND METHODS
Systems and methods are provided for wire processing. In certain examples, a wire processing system may be disclosed. The wire processing system may include a wire transport, a processing station that may provide wire to the wire transport, a processing station that may move an electrical component threaded onto the wire, and a processing station that may move the electrical component to a position on the wire for further processing.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING WIRE HARNESS AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD
A technique suitable for measuring the shape of a linear object. In the process of manufacturing a wire harness, a processing position identification process, in which a processing position is identified by measuring the three-dimensional shape of a wire assembly, is executed. This processing position identification process includes the following: a point group data acquisition step of acquiring point group data from image data acquired by capturing an image of the wire assembly using an image capturing unit; a representative line acquisition step of acquiring a representative line indicating a linear part of the wire assembly on the basis of the point group data; and a processing position identification step of identifying the processing position on the wire assembly to be processed, on the basis of a length along the representative line.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A POWER CHAIN
The present invention relates to an apparatus for producing a power transmission chain with a cable set consisting of a line bundle of individual lines, with a receiving device with a receiving spindle for receiving a power chain, wherein the receiving spindle extends along an axis (A), and a carriage, which can be moved to and fro and has a clamping device for fixing the cable set, wherein the receiving device has at least one clamping device for fixing an end portion of the cable set, and the receiving spindle is mounted such that it can be rotated about its axis (A), wherein a fixing device for securing the line bundle is arranged between the receiving device and the carriage.
WIRE HARNESS MANUFACTURING SYSTEM
A wire harness manufacturing system includes a display unit, a wire cutting machine that draws an electric wire from a wire feed reel and cuts the electric wire to a predetermined length, a control unit that directs the display unit to display a wire laying image and wire work identification information for identifying a work regarding each electric wire, the wire laying image including a plurality of wire images showing the plurality of electric wire in the laid state and the wire work identification information being displayed in the vicinity of the corresponding wire image, and a memory unit that stores the wire laying image and work instruction information so as to correspond to the wire work identification information, the work instruction information including cut length of the electric wire. The control unit sends the cut length information to the wire cutting machine.
WIRE HARNESS MANUFACTURING METHOD AND CONNECTOR HOLDING PART SUPPORTING DEVICE
The present invention provides technology that makes it possible to perform branch formation on a semi-finished product in which electrical wires are inserted into connectors, without placing the semi-finished product on a jig board, and improving manufacturing flexibility. A wire harness manufacturing method includes step (a) and step (b). The step (a) is preparing a member in which a plurality of connectors into which electrical wires are inserted are respectively held by connector holding parts such that the electrical wires dangle, and supporting parts that are able to support the connector holding parts in a first direction that is orthogonal to a vertical direction are arranged in a second direction that is orthogonal to the first direction. The step (b) is forming branches from portions of the electrical wires that dangle from the connectors, with the connectors remaining in a state of being held by the connector holding parts.
